I had to go into hiding today

I was wearing my Princess hat all day and I have never had so many requests to trade (even though my signature says I don't trade) or to be peoples friends. I eventually started hiding in my room. My pretty hat is turning me into a hermit.

Nice to meet another Robin. I felt really bad because my comuter is so slow and I was unable to respond fast enough when ask about the hat. Oh well it will be back out soon enough. I am amazed at how people panic when something like this happens. Also, I will say that I was kind of showing the hat off when I found out they were no longer in the Emporium, my kids really are rubbing off on me the wrong way.

Yep,the funniest thing since the HKDL mistake.Virtual panic is so strange because uits all young kids thinking that if they beg they will get it. (i am really starting to enjoy that smilie)

I know exactly what you mean. I bought mine this morning, was out all day and when I logged in at first I had not read the boards yet, so I kept telling everyone to go buy their own in the Emporium, finally to find out it was now gone!!
I then logged out and used a mule, the virtual begging and whining was too much to handle. I was mobbed everytime I appeared somewhere! It was kind of scary!
I won't let my DD (7) even wear hers until they release it again, way too scary for her.

ha I'm so lucky, someone traded me the hat and by the time I started wearing most of the kiddies have gone to bed - thus the trade windows haven't been obnoxious tonight! In fact, it's even less than usual! eerie...

I got lucky i guess ^_^ i bought three before the stoped selling. gave one to my friend who missed it, and kept one. I got so many offers for my other one 0_o i finally traded it for a space suit ^__^ hehe ive been wanting one anyways.

I was mobbed too. I could not type a thing without the trade window popping up. I also got mine in the morning, then logged on without knowing they no longer had them. Finally i went to see why everyone was mobbing me, only to find out that they were no longer for sale. I guess I was in the right place at the right time (which never happens to me by the way). I am glad they will be coming back out so everyone that wants one can get it.

We don't usually get these kinds of breaks either in our house, so it was fun to have something for a while that is rare. But I'm like you I will be glad when they come back out for everyone else. I also bought one with my DD's character but she can not play till Friday (she needs to focus on school) so she did not get mobbed, she sure laughed at me though.

They may have pulled the hat because they had it so boys could buy it too. I know that when I had it on everybody wanted mine. I kept telling people no and they kept asking why I was wearing it and my standard response was "because I could". I finially took it off and didn't put it back on. I hope they don't take it away from me and give me a refund. If they do that I'll never go back to that store and purchase from that franchise again.

Yavn has confirmed that the hat will be back "soon". Also that it will still be for boys and girls (that part was not a mistake-yavn was wearing the princess hat a long time ago)

Hey Rangebob if they did take the hat away we could always picket outside the Emporium. Since it is the only good shopping in town this week we we better hope they don't force us to do something drastic.
