I am so sick of the snow here in New York also. You never know what the rest of March will bring. I used to ski but haven't in a few years so I really don't enjoy the winter anymore. Its not just the snow, but the lack of bright sunshine that makes everything gloomy, now I know how Eeyore feels.
When I took BabyGirl to day care this morning, a cold front had come through - on top of the other cold front that came through 3 days ago - and the temperatures had plunged. It was 57 degrees!
I had to wear long pants! It has warmed up, but I don't think it ever will get up to 80 today.
Yeah, i know what you mean. Here in NY about August when there is a nice cool breeze coming off the lake and it's only 75 it can be a problem. I'll remind you of it in 5 months

Yes, Jim, we will remind you how nice it is here in Upstate NY when the breeze blows across Lake Ontario bringing down the temperature to a nice comfortable level! You will not be able to go outside because it'll be 95 with 100% humidity in FL!
Nah, I'd still take life in FL even in the summer over life in Upstate NY!
I am really happy for you!! What a super boss. Here's to hoping you feel much better after a little relaxation at OKW. Enjoy and think of all of us still dealing with the cold and snow.
DH&I were at BCV last week when we had two storms here in NY. I felt like I was dreaming the whole week - temp in the 80's, short sleeves and shorts, flowers blooming everywhere, ahhhhhhhh.
Well, it's not like I didn't ask for that. Not like I didn't richly deserve it either. Sometimes you just can't resist the temptation to be naughty!
As far as August, though, remember that I live in Miami. I'd rather in the Rockies or Sierras in August, but Miami is nothing like Orlando in August. It gets in the low 90's, and the humidity is sure high, but we usually have a nice breeze. Orlando is in the upper 90's with no wind and 100% humidity.

Ok, if you say so. My experience in Lauderdale August was my shoes stuck to the pavement, i still have pieces of steering wheel fused to my hands, and played towel hopscotch at the beach, then made glass castles.
Ok, did i tell you about the 3 storms we had in Sept and Oct. The winds were 15 MPH with gusts to 17! My lights actually flickered, i think.
Ok, that was a little low, hmmm....how about the time i was stuck in traffic for 3 minutes in Upstate NY? They drive like maniacs too, going 57 MPH.
Yes we all have our problems, ours happens to be right now. 45 days, 45 days, 45 days..................
Have a great trip home at OKW.........We won't be going there till November, can't wait..........And,if you're still sick of snow when you get back to NY,why not come visit in NS,Nova Scotia that is!! Have a magical time!
Kirsten in NS
Hey DisneyOKW - I'm a LIer too! And I know so know what you mean! Good for you - I think I'd LOVE a me, myself and I trip! It will cure all your blues I'm sure. My family was there last week and it makes a WORLD (pardon the pun) of difference. Sunshine and warm weather, nothing to think about except "should I have my coffee on the porch or in the bubble bath?"! No worries!
You have a wonderful wonderful time and feel better!
