When I took BabyGirl to day care this morning, a cold front had come through - on top of the other cold front that came through 3 days ago - and the temperatures had plunged. It was 57 degrees!
I had to wear long pants! It has warmed up, but I don't think it ever will get up to 80 today.
This is miserable! I'm going "Down Island!"

Ok, if you say so. My experience in Lauderdale August was my shoes stuck to the pavement, i still have pieces of steering wheel fused to my hands, and played towel hopscotch at the beach, then made glass castles.JimMIA said:Well, it's not like I didn't ask for that. Not like I didn't richly deserve it either. Sometimes you just can't resist the temptation to be naughty!![]()
As far as August, though, remember that I live in Miami. I'd rather in the Rockies or Sierras in August, but Miami is nothing like Orlando in August. It gets in the low 90's, and the humidity is sure high, but we usually have a nice breeze. Orlando is in the upper 90's with no wind and 100% humidity.
