I guess u really can see Illuminations from CBR

I'd say this guy's pictures are pretty accurate. I've stayed at CBR 5 times, and each time have enjoyed watching Illuminations while sitting by Old Port Royale.

All you need to do is get yourself a comfy chair in front of Old Port Royale (building housing the food court & restaurant) and sit back & relax!

i just returned from CBR on july 30th and had a room in martinique/ we just walked out of our room at about 9 pm to the beach in front of the buildings by the lake found a hammock( there are also several chairs for people) laid back and waited. It was very nice and you could also hear the music from Epcot. Watching the sunset shimmering on the lake with palm trees around laying in a hammock what more could you ask from a vacation? Mimimom

Guess that we will be sharing an Illuminations Cruise the end of the month with judirain!!! Cool!
Anyway I stayed at CBR in March and we watched Illuminations almost every night from the beach by the main pool. Nothing better then kicking back with a tropical drink watching the show!!

In 1994 we had a room in Barbados that had a view of Illuminations....so its not only from Old Port Royale that the fireworks can be seen.

Unfortunately, you can now also see Pop Century from many parts of CBR

So excited to go on this cruise..Where werre u at the CBR we have requested the Jamica bldg... would you recommend for peace and quietness? I dont care how far away from the food court we are.....being we will hardly be using it anyways....

Tell me about it!!!! excited as all get out up here!!!!
We were in Trinidad North 31...LOVED IT!!! Yup we were close to OPR and it was great. Personally I probably would have been happy anywhere at CBR it really is beautiful and soooo relaxing! We spent a lot of our nights down at the pool since MK closed at 7pm and then we wrapped it up around 10pm.
