I guess I skipped class today.

We just got a call from the High School saying that I missed 1 or more classes today. I don't know how that is possible. I was on time for Math, Homeroom, English, Science, Computer Graphics, and CAD today. I honestly don't know how they screwed up.

But anyway, when was the last time you missed an appointment or a meeting? Also, has somthing like this ever happened to you?

umm no. but last year when we went on vacation, my brother got like five thousand calls. and they are all voice automated. it'sss soo annoying. we told the school that he would be gone, but nope, they couldn't figure that out.

its happened to me. sometimes the system messes up. when they first put it in a few years ago on teh first day it called 350 students who were all present teh day before.

I've never skipped a class...ever...and I don't intend to start now. I'm one of those people who will always get caught..

But yea, that has happened to me before. In my school, study halls are madatory if you're not a senior (seniors have off-campus privilages). I got marked absent, who knows how many times. Eventhough they don't count for credit, my mom would flip out if I didn't get them fixed. And now, on my recent report card, it says that I've missed 2 classes of psychology. I've been there everyday.. (she's doing it to spite me, I swear that teacher doesn't like me..)

they don't have that at my school. but if you're not gonna show up, you have to call, or they'll call you (personally, like 30 minutes after school starts) to ask if you're okay as if you died or something. and if you come back you have to go to the office or they think you're gone all day. it's a pain in the buttocks.

This is like the third time in the past month that the office has screwed up. And each time it was absolutely my fault. No questions asked.

I'm actually hoping they suspend me tomorrow. I could use a long weekend.

I missed it by accident!!!

I thought that I had a double free period with my friends instead of Elements of Theatre...and I missed the class...and my friend goes "where were you in class?" And I'm was like WHAT????? So then I had to do make up work as though I had been absent Needless to say, I check my schedule every day now...

haha i had the exact same thing happen to me a few weeks ago. I have gym for 1st period, but for this marking period, I'm in CPR. But I still have to go to my gym teacher for attendence. I tell him I'm here, and he asks me where this girl Ashley is (she's also in CPR with me...), and I tell him she's absent.
So what happens? He marks me absent and not her. So I get the call at home, and my mother freaks out on me, that I skipped school. which wasn't true.
Stupid gym teachers.

Oh, and this whole week, the frosh, sophs, and seniors got to come in late while the juniors took the HSPA tests. Originally, we were told to come in at 10:30. But then they changed it, that we have to be there for 9:30 and will be watching some motivational speaker. And that if the seniors came in late, they would be giving us dentention. So the first day comes, and I come in at 9:30, and nothing. No one got in trouble. You can bet I was mad. haha. So the next two days, me and my friends went out to breakfast at IHOP and Perkins, and came in at 10:30.

Figured it out. For math I had a sub, who was a bonehead and marked me as absent.

I'm short and in high school I took Spanish and sat behind Brad. He was a big guy. Tall and on the football team. The teacher missed me more than once when taking attendance.

I got called into the principal's office and said I was there and told him what we did in class that day. He could have asked anyone sitting around me. I don't know how many times she missed marking me down, but after the second time I was never called into the office again.

My friend skips choir all the time: She and I have band/choir in like the same period but we have lunch in between so we only go to half of band and half of choir and my friend just stays in the lunch period for the next period. yeah... i wouldn't ever skip... i'd get caught and punished

i swear i could skip computer class. the teacher doesn't take attendance (our computer class consists of playing video games, instead of learning anything) so it would be easy. the teacher noticed when my friend (scratch that, i'd rather see her fall off a building..sorry i just hate her so much) skipped, but never called it to her attention. nothing.

Lol that would be a pretty funny movie.. They answer the phone... "Uh..Ya...Shes dead.." but if it was for real it would be sad...But funny in a movie
