I got tickets!!

My tickets for the taping of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire on December 3 at MGM came in today!!

I wonder if there will be a special pin for it?????

When did you mail in your request? We mailed ours in last Thursday.

We mailed it on November 13 (last Tuesday) and the return postmark is November 16 (Friday) from Santa Clarita CA. !!

We did not specify a day, so maybe that helped with the quick turnaround.

That was fast!!!!

This does not bode well for me. I put my request in the mailbox on Monday the 12th (yes I know it was a holiday) so I assume that it went out with Tuesday's mail. I did ask not be in the last show as I need to be at the airport by 3PM. I still have my fingers and toes crossed.

UPDATE: My tickets showed up in Tuesday's mail. I got a couple of tickets to the 12/3 Noon show. I'm going to have to hustle to get to the airport in time for my flight home. I was hoping for 12/2 tickets, but these will have to do.

Debbie, we finally got our tickets in the mail today! They are for the same show as yours, Dec. 3 at 3 pm. I guess we know what we'll be doing most of Monday afternoon.

I'm bummed.....I mailed for tickets on November 13th and haven't received any as yet. I also did not request a specific date because we're there both days and I thought that would increase our chances of getting them. I even emailed Kelly (of Regis & Kelly) several weeks ago about tickets to the taping of their show. No luck there either......oh, well, I'll just have to use the time trading. We're off to WDW in 36 hours!!!

Mail came.....no tickets. Has anyone got two extra they aren't using? I'm really disappointed but it'll pass. 24 hours to go.................

I'm EXTRA disappointed because I DID have tickets for Oct. and THEY cancelled...I had read that they were going to send tickets out to the people who had them previously. When it got to be mid-November, and I didn't have them, I sent out a new request - telling them that I already HAD tix for the Oct. 1st taping. My stamped, self-addressed envelope came back telling me they were sold out. Excuse me...It wasn't MY fault they cancelled!

This really ticked me off since I had a sitter lined up and everything...
