I got this one too! I have never hosted a House Party before, but I am sure it's going to be fun.

We're starting to work on the guest list right now. I know it's supposed to be a mother/daughter thing right? But I am guessing it wouldn't be bad to let my sons invite a few friends too, right?

"Active Applicant" means that you weren't a first round pick. They put out the first round picks and if they get enough from that then you will get the sorry loser email (just got that for the Sabra Hummus, my daughter is bummed).

We got in as well. I am super excited. I was afraid since we got another recent party, we wouldn't get this one. The original version is one of our favorite games!! I can't wait to try out the new version.

If you didn't get picked, keep trying. We will go through dry spells then hit a couple in a row. Just depends on what they are looking for.

Honestly there is nothing. Just be honest. They are looking for someone who fits a certain profile. If you fit, your in. If not, your not.

I didn't post pictures with my last House Party, I didn't because I had a wedding that same day. I served the mac n cheese dishes (all 3 varieties) at the reception (reception was a potluck style and there were about 100 people there) and polled people for their thoughts after we all ate. I gave the socks & coupons to the wedding party, they loved them! LOL It was hilarious and so fun!! Anyway, I didn't post any photos because I didn't take any, what with being in the wedding and trying to poll people on their thoughts I just didn't think of it. HP didn't seem to mind that I didn't share photos. And I won't post too many of this party either, I'm one of those weird parents who doesn't like to put up too many photos of her kids in public forums.
Have fun everyone who got in, sorry to those who didn't (I didn't get the Tombstone and it would have been perfect for us), keep trying, I hadn't had one for quite some time but I had the mac n cheese and now the Just Dance 2 parties.
My girls are super excited, probably won't have too many Mom's who stay but the kids will be in heaven.

Do people show up at your house and observe your party? I think we are just having a wii night with my daughters friends..they love Dance Party 1 and play it all the time. I'll hand out the coupons to the parents..perfect time with the holiday's coming up. I guess DP2 will be under alot of trees this year.

i logged on and it said i received an email as a host finalist but was too late. I rechecked my email and i never received the email. I am so sad - i really wanted to do this one.
