250 euros for £211, so I just need to make two more payments of £211 then i have 750 euros which should cover us for the 5 days we are there.

Agreed - I still think that the Euro looks like monopoly money, although the new £20 looks like that as well IMO.

Having said that, for the amount of European travelling I do at times, it would make my life easier...

Sooo exciting, cant wait to get our Euros, we are going in November... still trying hard to save.

We are also going for 5 days .... and we are unsure of how much money we should take.
I can see that you are also going for 5days and you are taking 750 euros.... can i ask how many of you are going?

For us it is 2 adults and 1 child.... Me & husband and our almost 3yr old daughter.

we only need food money, we decided to eat lunch from the snack huts (takaways) but would like to eat dinner in a nice resturant each evening.
We would like to do the Hot air balloon, buy a birthday cake, and pay for the Character Tea in Plaza.
We might have a quick visit to Paris and a coffee and cake in a cafe there.
Might go on Eiffle Tower depending on how long the queue is.

We wont need to take money for the Disney Shops as my daughter will take her own Birthday money to buy ears, toys etc...

How much do yu think will cover the above?

I changed up £353 today online at the Post office for 420 Euros at a exchange rate of 1.18 something.....look forward to changing up the rest of my money on the 16th Sept just hope the Euro doesnt crash anymore than what it is!

I usually go to M&S - their euro rate is pretty dire at the moment too though - about the same as the Post Office

travelex was 1.21 yesterday, the rate is dropping daily.

someone advised to use nationwide visa as they give you the actual exchange rate whereas places like post office etc is lower than the exchange rate.

does anyone know if all restaurants/cafes accept visa in dlp? i know the shops too but cant remember about the cafes etc

The carts which sell hot drinks/snacks etc won't though.
