I got SO much done this weekend!!

We ordered the bridesmaid dresses, I picked up the last of their gifts (except for whatever extra something I'm getting for my MOH), bought the ring bearer's pillow, guest book and pen, and found a restaurant for the rehearsal dinner that is out of this world. My ring came in today (his has been in forever) and they booked the hotel sometime last week. The necklaces I ordered for the girls came in, as did my two "Bride" shirts. OH and we got our first wedding gift. It was an ugly crystal candy dish that we have absolutely no use for. If we knew where it came from, we'd take it back. Oh well. The thank you note will go out as soon as exams are over, not to worry, we won't skip the thank you!

Blimey you're on a roll! In fact you just spurred me into action as I keep putting off writing the guest list for the at home reception so I just loaded up excel and started filling in some names. i don't want to do it as I can't decide whether to have a just friends and close family party or invite all of my relatives (who live 100 miles away). it is only an evening do when we get back from Disney so I can't see them wanting to travel and shell out for a hotel, but then I feel its rude not to invite them!

Get to work Rosiejo! I still haven't finished the guestlist, but I have a little while...invitations won't need to go out until early June. I dread addressing all those things!! We're getting married at home so there will be a HUGE amount of people...Ugh.

Last weekend we booked our hotel for our disneymoon and I'm trying to decide on PSs now, so we're making progress there too...

Elisabeth-the sad thing is, that's my great-uncle and his wife. They should know me *slightly* better than that I would think...As DFi said-since when does candy last long enough without being eaten to make it to a dish?

Have fun!! I had my dresses picked out from looking at the catalogue, just had to make sure the girls didn't hate them. The flowers can get really tedious, so just keep in mind that it might not be hugely fun unless you know exactly what you want. Since I didn't, it took FOREVER!

I had no idea that choosing flowers was such a pain. I think I'm going to put FH in charge of that . Good for you for getting so much done during exam time! It must feel good to cross those things off your list

Did I read that right?? You're getting married in June but haven't sent out your invitations or decided your guest list? I'm gonna stop panicking as I have 6 months yet!

No, the invitations go out in June! The wedding is in August, so we'll be sending them 8 weeks prior. I'd be hyperventilating if we still didn't have it figured out and were getting married in June!
