Yea, my 8yo DS got taken in a trade yesterday too. He gave a bunch of stuff away supposedly in return for some other things. Well, the trader never came through on his end of the bargain. Very frustrating! It's heartbreaking for these kids who don't understand why someone would want to cheat and steal from them...

Let's take a room and dump all our useless one-only teleporters in it!
Maybe they will eventually match up and we can give them to some nice kid.
I would be willing to use one of my rooms. When I get home from work, I will log in and set it up, then post the name here. I promise to not keep anything. Piratesmate can tell you I am a woman ( Yeah! I can type that I am a woman without getting ####'d out! ) of integrity. Also I may be able to find a tiara in one of my eight characters loot. If you see one of me on VMK, say hi!

Really - the best revenge for someone having one of your teleporters in their room is to pick the other one up. They can't use it then!

Thanks so much for the offer! It's not that I'm afraid to trade with someone I trust (ie the DIS players)...I'm afraid to trade with someone I don't know!

One time someone was bugging me to trade magic (invisibility). I kept saying no. He then offered his space suit. So then I said sure because I figured I could use the space suit to get the pin back later. He said he had to take his suit off and left the trade and then seemed to wait a while. I didn't do anything..was waiting for him to come back and then he disappeared. Guess he was trying to rip me off.

This is a great idea! Call it the Uselss teleporter room! LOL You could even put a message in the room description or in photos about each of the teleporters leading to a scam artist!

Wow that is cool i know i got ripped off once. she wanted 3 rope dividers 2 pirate statues 2 pirate tables and some thing els i wanted her to show me her magic pins so she said i have to take them off so click acept so the deal can save so i clicked it but i toled her i was going to report her if she scammed me. she said ok but when i clicked it she ran like a dog. lol. she was girlwithattidued or attitudegal something like that. i never got my stuff back. Also i wanted to know how do u get your vmk picture or a sparkaly writting on the bottome of your posts?

Not true, I was in Central Plaza yesterday and VM_Mocha came in, went up to a boy and asked him what he gave ### for the teleporters? He ran away from her! We all got a good laugh out of that, as if he could run!!! VMK_Mocha however was not laughing and said she did not enjoy chasing them down. Report it.

ChiaBob also got ripped off of a pirate pin tonight as well.

As "wrong" as it is, at least you know you can get the pin back easily enough (for now at least). Just create another character, use the code, trade the pirate pin. As a consolation prize, you could also use the 2x 500 credit codes, and buy yourself some feel better furniture. (Including a pair of teleporters )

I would report it too, but would not expect anything out of it.

mal, put the worthless teleporter in an empty skull room, surround the opening with velvet ropes. That way if the little sucker plans on keeping his half ( i have seen kids talk about their other half of their teleporter was now in a new cool room), it will be useless as it will not let him go ANYWHERE in vmk, except to look at an empty skull room.

i guess to some kids its a game. They keep the other half, see where your half ends up so they can jump in and disrupt rooms and so forth. Well, now you can fix his little wagon hehe.
