I Got My Mother's Day Call....from Kuwait!

Bobby called about 20 minutes ago!! I was especially sad today, because I hadn't heard from him - but now I'm just about the happiest mom in the world!!! He sounded wonderful!!

He said that they were only giving them 1 minute to call their moms and he still doesn't know when he's coming home, but hopefully soon. He said that they do know who the 10 are who have to stay behind to load the ships...and he's not one of the 10.

I also know that one of my DIS friends who adopted Bobby, received a note from him last week. Hopefully he'll also respond to others of you for your generosity.

Hi Patty,
I am so glad you got a call from him, and I am glad you were home. I know that had to make your day!
Also, congrats on him not having to be one of the ones to stay. I know how happy I was to find out DH was not one who had to stay behind. Luckily the ones that stayed behind should be home within the next few weeks.
