So my mom called today wanting to know if we were coming to town soon(we're about 45 minutes outside of Dallas).
Well, I wasn't planning on it, but I can, what do you need? She says come get your gift, what? This early? My mother never gives gifts early. She says we will have to put it together.
What could it be?
So I ask, will it fit in the backseat of my truck or am I putting it in the back end, you never know with my mother. She says the backseat but bring something to cover it up if I'm doing other shopping. Again, but no problem.
So we get there. She gives us a box, we open it. It a decorative Christmas vase, . This is not my mother.
So then Dad hands me another box and hands DH a softer package. I am to open mine first. She also says this is very expensive and she expects to receive the benefits of this.
So I open the box...it's a Sony camcorder!!!!
DH opened his package, it's an extra battery, extra DVD to record on
I am so excited. They wanted us to have it in time to record any Christmas program that DD(4) might be in(she's not this year) and Christmas morning with DD
I am so excited! And I have time to read through all the instructions.
My parents are so great. Mom says she's sorry there won't be anything under the tree for us, but I know better, she hasn't given us a book yet
