I got my BOG ADR!!!!

Well...... after 3 hours of busy signals we finally got through only to find out that 11/29 through 12/8 were booked solid :-(

A very helpful, kind soul on this board was able to acquire a reservation for our family on 12/8... how I don't know... she must be our fairy godmother :)

Congrats to all who have succeeded.

I may have to wait for another trip when this initial situation dies down. I doubt I will be able to get any good times or dates, now. I'll keep trying, but this is looking hopeless for me, right now.

Does anyone know if you can book dinner reservations for the nights they have MVMCP?
 
wow I am so glad I called today! She told me that all of November and December are gone. I booked for Feb 11th at 5:30 and it was available! These are going to be hard to get reservations!
 

With the help of Charleyann and many phone calls (and beeping sounds) later....

Was able to get in to BOG on December 11th at 4:05 to celebrate my daughter's birthday! (just a special Mommy and me dinner....boys are going to T-Rex!)

But it took calls to our resort (twice) numerous numbers including dining, vacation and the UK! Finally called the Guest relations for disabilities since my daughter is autistic and a very nice gentlemen (his name sounded like Helm?) helped me out...he verified that my name was indeed wrong on the reservation hence why it won't come up online. But I was able to add my cc# (he said it was a must-do) and got a new confirmation number. My last name will only be off one letter but he said it should be fine....just can't go in with a completely different name!

Good luck to everyone still trying. I know the one time I got through the 11th was booked and 13th was close (that time the system kicked me out due to...you guessed it...not being able to spell my name right!)
 
Just booked thru the number 407-939-2625 that someone had on here. NO WAIT!!!! got right thru and booked for 11/21 at 4:10 FOR 4 people. EXCITED!!!!
 
I wasnt able to get through at all....but My mom is in Disney now and was able to snag me a reservation for Dec 1st!!!!!!

Booked at reservation for 8 on december 22. It took me 2:40 hours. It would have been about an hour but I was booking with the automated service and it misspelled my last name. I tried to correct it and it connected me to a live agent or should I say terminal hold. I was on hold for 45 minutes and then disconnected. The second time I got through it was the automated deal again. Last name went just fine. My first name is longer so when I was questioned I shortened it to a nickname. When that came back wrong I accepted it. I figure I can call later to correct the first name. If not I will deal with it.
 
If you went through the automated system (like I did) and didn't give a CC for your reservation, just to be safe, you should call back to add one!

When I called the CM said she had to find out if my original time was still available-and my heart sank LOL but thankfully, it was still there and now I feel like I'm really all set for 12/17!!!:worship:

P.S. I was just wondering-does anyone know if Disney keeps some reservations available for the online booking? Cause if they do, those still searching might have better luck there!!
 
My sister and I both started powerdialing at 6:00 central on the dot. After 45 minutes, she finally got through to the automated system. pixiedust: We'll be going December 13 at 5:20!

Now, since I'm sitting here at work, I'm asking her to get back on the phones to give them my credit card info. I know several people have been told Disney won't cancel our reservation since we did get a confirmation number, but I want to be absolutely sure. I definitely owe my sister one for all of this. I'm always up early for work, but she doesn't work a set M-F, 9-5 job so she was really going out of her way to help out.
 
on the ph with regular dining line. she said the system WILL AUTOMATICALLY CANCEL all reservations without cc by midnight tonight.... :mad:
 
I finally got thru, after getting busy signals for over an hour + ... Was using the automated system and remarkably got the date I wanted (not the time, but I was willing to settle), was following the prompts to book it and all of a sudden I was switched to the DISNEY SURVEY!!! :scared::faint: ... :mad:

Called back ... got thru in about 30 minutes this time ... miraculously got the same date I wanted (not the time again) ... was following the prompts to book it ... automated Annie couldn't understand my name or spelling :mad:, switched me to a representative ... and guess what? ... yup, I was disconnected ... :mad:

Called a third time ... got a real person ... guess what?! ... nothing available now for the date I wanted :sad2: ... So needless to say, after 4 hours of totally wasting my time, I am done trying ... :headache:

Yikes, they are going to have a LOT of upset people if that's the case! I'm glad I got a reservation even if it changes up our plans of which parks we go to on which day.

For those that are worried about Automated line and your reservations, have you tried to pull them throuh your resort reservation on line (look up reservation with number and phone number)? It will pull your reservation and attach it to your resort reservation. I know I have made other ADR's through the website and it didn't ask for cc number. I just make sure it posted it with my Resort confirm. Just a thought.
 
I called DVC member services just now and only had to hold for about seven minutes to get a 4:55pm reservation for four on Friday January 25th...our first full day of our 1/24-1/31 vacation!

So excited!
 
I finally got through using the DVC member services. They only had ONE date & time the whole 8 days we will be there.

It does not coincide with any of the christmas parties as I had hoped, but oh well.
I snagged 5:30, on 12/10 for two people.
If anyone sees this , and REALLY wants it, just PM me. It may not fit into our plans :sad2:
