I've been trying on my cell phone for 45 minutes, 142 redials. All busy signals, a few "failed call"s, or "all circuits are busy" messages. Back when I was still a college student and we had to call to get registered for football tickets (go Gators!), people with landlines had easier times than cell phones. Maybe it's just coincidence, but makes me wish I had a landline now.
I got it... 11/29 4:10pm..... for those of you booking on 11/29 CM said something about them not booking after 4:30 because of the Merry Merry Christmas Parade. and our party of 6 almost had to split. It payed to keep trying so for those of you that are still in busy signal hell...."Just Keep Swimming!"
I am starting to think that this isn't meant to be. I do think that this is tied to phone companies in some way too. Too many people on the same system could cause fast busy before you even get to the Florida system. They should have opened online reservations at the same time. That is what makes this a bad set-up.
I don't remember who posted this, but I got through in about 15 mintues of redialing on the UK number 407-939-7718. Then I only held for about 10 minutes.. I had been redialing the main dining number on three phones since 6:58.
I've been redialing constantly for an hour and 30 minutes. I don't understand how I have not gotten through. I'm going to be really upset if by the time I do get through Nov 29th and Nov 30th are booked already. Has anyone tried for those dates and there's been no availability or only really late times?
It took me over 200 redials and an hour and a half...but I got my Chrismas Dinner ressie! Keep trying everyone - you WILL get through. (And like everyone has said, the auto system told me there would be a $10 cancellation charge but I was never prompted to enter my credit card info.)
I feel like if I actually heard something other than the annoying beeping sound in my ear right now after an hour and I half, that I would believe it to believe it to be a mirage...
I'm going to hear beeping for the rest of the day!
I booked mine about an hour ago. Yay! But they didn't ask for my credit card number? I went through the automatic services. So, I've been on hold for almost an hour, to talk to an agent just to be sure they didn't need my credit card number.
Did anyone else give them there's? Thanks in advance.
