A while back someone posted a link to sign-up for a free $5 gas card from BP. Well...I got my card today! It's only good on Ulimate but hey, it's FREE!!

Has anyone used this card without getting Ultimate gas? Could I use it on the regular unleaded? I also got my card in the mail a few days ago!

Almost forgot about it and it came in an envelope that said your a winner. I almost threw it away. Glad I didn't a little stocking stuffer for hubby. Thanks again to the OP for the link. Every little bit helps.

I got my card yesterday and used it to purchase regular gas. I just inserted it in the pump, it said I had 5 dollars credit on the screen, then I chose my fuel.

Yes, my DH did!!! He thought you had to get Ultimate too since there is a picture of the gold pump on the card, he put it in the pump and it said to pick the grade (whatever the machine says), so he pushed the regular button and it took it.

He came home and told me he was able to get the $5 in regular. The pump just shut off as soon as it hit $5.

Got mine this week too! Since I was looking to get another gas card anyhoo, I went and signed up with them since they are expanding into my area. I'll be using mine for gas on my Disney trip next week!
