In case anyone is using Priceline to find a room for the night before your departure, I wanted to share what I just did...

I entered bid of $43 for 3star MCO. Bid was rejected but Priceline asked me if I wanted to add $12 to the bid and it would be accepted. I declined and revised my bid to add Kissimmee and MCO airport 3star for $45. Accepted by the Hyatt. With fees, the total is $57.89. Date is 9/23.

There's no guarantee with Priceline on which hotel you'll get but just wanted to share in case it helps someone else get a good deal.

Wow! What great luck you have! I'm paying $177 because I'm too scared to bid and take a chance. We really want the Hyatt, and but I want to be sure I'll get it. Congratulations on your excellent price. :Pinkbounc

Great job. You know how to manipulate PL to your advantage. Terrific deal! :sunny:

Wow, I'm almost sick! I'm going to be there same night and I paid $95 plus tax through Hotwire. Well, I will get a $30 mail in rebate, split between 2 rooms, but still. ARGH!

Congratulations! What a deal!

Wow... thanks so much. I've been putting off getting a room because of being overwhelmed by things at home, but this spurred me into action and I went right over to Priceline and put in my bid. $45 plus taxes, accepted at the Hyatt Regency. Perfect.

Thanks again :)

Julie
