I Got In IOA FREE!

When I visited Universal Studios shortly after it opened in 1990, they were having technical problems. I received a free one day pass that I could use on a return visit.

I've never gone back until last week, when I went to Islands of Adventure. Can you believe I still had that pass? I figured I'd give it a shot... sure enough, they let me into Islands of Adventure for FREE with an 11-year-old courtesy pass to the studios!

I have to give Universal credit. Disney would never allow anything like that. We had a really good time at IOA, they have a few rides that are as good (if not better) than anything Disney has!!!!

Oh yea! I remember receiving a similar pass to Universal. I went shortly after it opened and a whole bunch of rides weren't working including Jaws (something about having to rip it up), Kong, Earthquake.

Unfortunately, used our passes right away for a second consecutive day visit.
