I got in a show!! I am so excited!

Last week I auditioned for a community theatre show, something I have not done in 7-8 years.....and I got the part!!!!
I have to thank my DIS friends, especially my WISH pals for all their support! Without losing the weight I could have never gotten the part...as a singer and dancer!

I am so excited and needed to share my excitement!!!

The show is Smokey Joe's Cafe ( it was recently on Broadway). It is all music with no dialogue....like a musical revue of 50's & 60's music written by Lieber & Stoller.
I sing two solos, in a trio, in a quartet and then some ensemble numbers! And I get to dance...LOL!

I am really excited!
It opens on April 30 and we do 4 shows!!!!!

Smokey Joe's Cafe:
This is a two-hour, hit-filled revue featuring 40 songs created by the famous '50s pop music writing duo, Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller. Smokey Joe's Cafe songs were made popular by artists such as Elvis, The Coasters, The Drifters, Ben E. King and Peggy Lee, and include such great titles as: "Hound Dog," "Kansas City," "Love Potion #9," "Stand By Me," "Jailhouse Rock," and many more in an unprecedented string of hits that defined the '50s and '60s. Somewhere between the average musical and a rock concert, this show is great fun, and great entertainment.

Still cannot believe I got it!!!! So happy I can come here to share my excitement!!!
