I Got Candlelight Processional Ps!!! Did anyone else?

I just booked our family for the CP as well. I was able to get exactly what we wanted at LeCellier. I only got one confirmation number and did ask about another, she said I only needed the one she gave me. I also checked on the discount and she said it looked like they were not doing that this year. I'm disapponted as we shopped like crazy last year, but oh well. Thanks for the heads up.

:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc I got mine. YIPPEE!!
Wednesday, Dec. 17th at 5:00 PM for show & dinner at 7:00 PM at the Coral Reef Grill. I would have preferred Chefs de France or Le Cellier but Hubby wants to do the Coral Reef this time. So I gave him his choice.

The lady was so sweet, her computer kept giving her problems but she finally got it done. She said its a prepaid event and that if weather is bad they will cancel and we will not be charged. Since I plan to eat dinner anyway not sure how that would work, but did not think to ask, I was so excited at getting what I wanted at times I wanted. She went on to say that the price included 6.5 % sales tax & 15% gratuity for the dinner with no charge for the show. She also said that this event has a 48 hour cancellation policy in effect.

Since we are not staying on property this trip, we can pick up our tickets at Guest Services upon entering the park. She did not know if we would be given arm bands or badges for seating at the show, but that we would be give one or the other when we pick up our tickets. She only gave me one confirmation number, I asked having just read someones post about two and she said we only needed the one for both events.
YIPPEE!! I have the reservations for our entire trip.:Pinkbounc

That's' what I was told when I booked my Dec 7th, 6:45 show and 8:40 dinner at Chefs de France......:smooth: :smooth:

Thanks y'all!

I found this post at work today and ran to get my cell phone out of my car. I have 2 CP PS's booked. I am hoping that they reinstate the 15% discount. I am very bummed that they didn't offer it this year.

We will be there 12/15 at the 5:00pm show and dinner at 7:10pm at the Rose & Crown. Now, we might skip this show, but from what I have been able to see on the menues around the net, it's still a good deal for us.

We will definately be at the 12/18 CP at 8:15pm. We will have an early dinner at Le Cellier at 4:50pm. I am praying for a little nip to be in the air this evening. We shall see.

I can't wait! Mickey

I booked Sat., Nov.29: CP @ 6:45, Rose & Crown @ 8:00......Just what I wanted!! I was only given 1 confirmation #.....

The price is $37.26 ($34.99 + tax, includes 15% gratuity)..... the dinner includes choice of soup, salad, or appetizer, entree, and dessert, plus non-alcoholic drinks.

The CM said they're not offering the lanyards (you get a badge),
or the 15% shopping discount this year.

I think the Candlelight Processional is going to be even more popular this year, with no Osborne Lights, so I'm very glad I was able to get the reservation.....

Debbie B--did the same as you! Dec 2 CP at 6:45 and dinner at Le Cellier 8:00pm. Myfirst time going so I was wary about the timing. Did you get to see Illuminations last year and if so where did you watch it? Anyplace close to Canada? I'm sooo excited--leaving DS2 and DS4 with babysitter!

I was told that it was a non climate controlled area, but would preform rain or shine so to dress accordingly. I don't think they cancel, from the posts I have read earlier in the month.

I also was told the show would go on, rain or shine. I'll bring some ponchos, but hope for the best! :D

:jester: I was very surprised when she made the statement about cancelling if the weather turned bad having read posts from others that the show went on rain or shine. Since we always carry our rain ponchos, we really were not concerned about it. We were there last New Years Eve when the downpour started and we survived that with no trouble at all. We had a blast and fully plan to repeat the fun again this year. But we do have better rain ponchos for this year.LOL

We didn't see Illuminations that night, we went another night. They show Illuminations at 9:30 when CP is on. Don't be surprised if you are not seated at 8:00, I think we had to wait until about 8:20, they are notorius for running late. The service is usually fast though. I think we were out of the restaurant and just leaving the park when Illuminations started. We had them pack the desserts because we were full. We also asked for our remaining breadsticks to be wrapped and they gave us some fresh ones! The gratuity is included but if they do a great job, we leave a little more on the table.

If you don't have to worry about kids seing, you can usually find a spot with a good view by standing behind others at the fence. If you are going to be leaving by the front of Epcot, I would stay around the entrance to the WS. There are usually some good last minute spots by Morocco, that is good for us when staying at BW because we leave by the International Gateway.

Just called today for our CP dinner package for Dec. 24th. We have a PS for Le Cellier at 4:40, then we'll go to the 6:45pm show.

I was also told the show would go on rain or sunshine, and was advised to bring ponchos. BTW, I only got one conformation #. Wonder why some of us are getting 2 conformation #s and others are only getting one.
Doesn't matter as long as they have my tickets and PS!!

I got my PS for Le Cellier for December 10 for 4:50 pm dinner and CP show at 6:45 pm. Just me and my DH. These are my first PS I have done and was so happy. This makes our trip so real and feels that much closer. Almost down to double digits. Yea!!

Hi!

I booked our package for December 9th. 5pm show followed by dinner at Alfredo's at 7:30 pm.

This is almost identical to our ressie from last year. We like time after the show to shop at the stores in the World Showcase.

Also we like eating after the show. This way we have more time to eat our meal and not feel rushed.

We ate at Alfredo's last year. We ended up having a blast with the two tables on either side of us. Gave us a chance to make some new friends.

We got one PS number. Had one last year. Will look at my confirmation sheet closely when I get it in the mail.

The reserved section for the package holders is under the "covered" section of the pavillion. It was pouring during the show when we went last year so I was glad that we were under cover.

I suggest getting there early for the CP so that you can assure getting a seat towards the front and under the pavillions covered area.

I can hardly wait!

Renee

Word to the wise.

Remember to take ALL the paperwork associated with your PS when you head to WDW. Last year Disney managed to lose our group's reservation. There were 16 of us who had paid in full for dinner and CP only to find that there was no evidence to that fact in the Disney computers. No dinner. No special seating at CP. No discount. And no refund. That's right. Since we could not come up with a receipt for the payment, Disney claims that they never received the funds.

So make sure to bring your credit card receipts along with your PS number. I would hate for anyone else on the DIS to learn the hard lesson that we did.

I ended up watching CP in the pouring rain the night that we were supposed to have had our CP package. After countless trips to WDW, I finally broke down and bought a poncho. And I still got soaked. But it was worth getting wet. The program is excellent and I'm looking forward to seeing it again this year. But without the package deal. Once bitten, twice shy.

Oh Towncrier, that is just awful! Thanks so much for posting the info here though. Ill be sure to bring my confirmation number. Is there anything else we should have?
Disnee25, we will be right with you. We have PS at 4:20 for Le Cellier, and then are going to the 6:45 show too. I want to have an early night since we hope to get to EE at MK the next morning.

Our experience booking was a different one. We were in WDW, and I just knew they would open up that week. So we called Sunday and they told us to check back the end of the week. Tuesday we happened to be in Canada with some time to kill while waiting for the Beavertail stand to open up. We decided to check out Le Cellier as we have never been. We peeked our heads in and since it was empty we walked in and started talking to the CM at the desk. We explained how we wanted to eat there Chrismas Eve and thought we would check it out. She reminded us to be sure to make our PS. Then we asked if the CP package had opened up yet(earlier I realized we forgot to call and check as I had planned to every day). She said she would check. When she returned she told us, no it hadnt opened up for booking yet and last year it did 60 days in advance(???, how can tthat be, its more than 1 night???) so I might want to try in October. I knew that was false information so when we returned to our room around 6:00pm we called and lo and behold, it was available to book. The moral of the story is always double check info if you think a CM is wrong. ;)

Again with the inconsistencies:confused:! I just this minute called to book the Candlelight Processional Dinner Package for 12/4/03 and the CM told me that he could not book it as it was before the 90 day period. I hung up and redialed straight away and spoke with another CM (lovely lady) who got it all set up for me with no problem whatsoever! I got the 6:45pm show with an 8:10 dinner PS at LeCellier. I only recieved one confirmation number and since I had read these helpful posts I asked her and she said that the one number is sufficient.

I also think that it's quite good value for money as the tab paid up front (bonus right there!) came to $89.44 all in vs. $106.71 (thanks to wdwig.com for menu with prices) if we ordered starter, entree, dessert, bevvie, tax and tip on our own.

Oh I'm sooooo confused.... Please help....... I got res. for the cp and got one number, but I was told that it wouldn't be charged until I went/didn't cancel 24hrs or didn't show. I checked my credit card and there are no pending charges and I got the res. a week ago.....Do I really have res?
any ideas????? thanks!!!!!!!

I think I'll call and check on this......Hope it's ok, because it's for the Rose and Crown.

For 12/11 eating at Japan and 6:45 show.:earsboy:  :earsgirl: :sunny:

Liz,
Were you able to find out about this? I was told the same thing as you. I have the 5:00 show and 7:00 PS at Rose and Crown. I was given one confirmation number and told that I'd be charged when I picked up the tickets. Guess I should call and confirm, also.
