I got one too and we just got back from Disney in June. We do have AP's so I dont think thats it.
How odd they say its not in their system and it came early. Im going to call too just to see what they say.

I just dont understand this. I have never gotten a postcard or an email. We have stayed onsite like 5 times now and I am registered all over Disney sites. I ordered recently both planning videos plus a DVC one. My kids registered on the kids Disney site. I dont know what else I can do!

It figures as we are wanting to go on a 3 night getaway by ourselves in October and would stay on site if we could get a discount.

Don't feel bad, I've been going to DW since the mid-80's, more than once a year and I've never ever gotten a postcard either and I know my address is on file with them along with my email address. Don't know what kind of system they use to decide who gets and who doesn't get these special rates.

Also, I think I go the email because I signed my DH 2 days ago for a video. That is the only way they would have his info.

Ooooh, I'm jealous about the Contemporary Resort...I just checked for Dec 4-11 and they had NOTHING available at the CM...not even tower rooms.

They did have WL for $137 CV; AKL Pool View for $121 and Savannah view for $151.

I was also hoping for POFQ, but the only moderate available was CBR.....

I just don't know what to do because the weather is so unpredictable that time of year!

But that all my decisions in life should be this hard!

We got the email also, booked about 45 minutes ago 2 Rooms at the pop century $109.00 a night that is with tax and for 2 rooms.
We have been waiting for some kind of code, we are sooooooo excited. saved me a lot of money.
All I had to do was call the number and punch the code in. the cm came on and we had planned on stayng at All star movieswere we stayed last time, but it was full for the code. So we got Pop Century instead and that is fine...
We are going November 6th - 13th.
anyways i had toshare when i saw the other replies. any info on Pop Century would be great because i had did all my research on all star movies.

CHEAPMOM~Have you stayed at the Contemporary? What do you love? I don't want my DH to be disappointed.

I stayed there 1 time when I was 8 years old- 1978! Loved it. But we were just at WDW, this June and ate at Chef Mickey's and had a good time exploring the hotel.

The monorail going through the hotel is the cooloest thing in the world. We did a round trip on the monorail for the fun of it. Also, after Chef Mickey's we went out on a public balcony area and watched WISHES. There were about 25 other people out there and they had benches and chairs for about 10 people.
It is in my opinion a bit more sophisticated than some of the other themed hotels.

The transportation thing is priceless! To and from MK and also if you want to dine or do a charater meal at Poly or GF it is right at your fingertips with the monorail.

Are the emails transferrable? I haven't gotten one, but we are staying at PC Nov 13-20 and $49 would be great, since we have the AAA rate right now which is I think $68.xx.

Sorry they are not. The pin number is linked to the persons name.

We booked at the Wilderness Lodge I was hoping for the Contemporary to be a little lower but I am happy with what we got.

As for how to get on the list, I dont know. They had my address from two years ago before I even went to Disney.
