I just received an email tonight saying, "Welcome to your dream come true maker". The price quoted is for $1450.00 for a value resort 6 nights/7 days from 8/5 to 10/3. Price quoted is for 2 adults, 1 junior & 1 child. I went out on the site to see if this was a good deal but it is only $47.00 less than rack rates. Doesn't seem very impressive to me or am I missing something?:confused3

I received the same email and I was puzzled by it. It says you have to book by May 11. But I couldn't find a code or anything. When I went onto the Disney site, it said something about a summer package with details to follow soon. I am planning a trip for 8/15 - 8/22 but I think we want to stay at the Poly, so this won't help us.

I also could not find a code or anything to indicate this was a special deal. I know in the past even if you receive a post card or email for a value many times there is a similar discount at the moderates and deluxes. We also love the Poly and I am trying desperately to convince DH to go back this summer.

It would only be impressive if it included dining, or add on's to the tickets.

If its just a room and base park tickets it pretty much the cost of a package during value season. They are probably just trying to promote those dates.

Just got this email tonight. At first I was like, Oh yeah getting a discount! :cool1: Then I checked the rack rates and sure enough, no discount. Funny how they worded the email to make it seem like a discount. Here is an excerpt of it:

Since you're interested in coming in June, here's a great offer we picked out for you and your family. It's the best way to open a whole world of Disney dreams and possibilities.

Standard rooms at select Disney Value Resorts start at just
$109* (per night, plus tax)
for the time you'd like to travel!
Available most nights 5/24–8/4/07
*Minimum length of stay requirements may apply. Additional per-adult charges apply if more than two adults (18 or older) per room.
Book online now, or call 407-W-DISNEY or your Travel Agent by 05/11/2007.

Oh well, still kind of neat that I got an email from them :rotfl:

I got one too.... but mine was for $57 a night, standard room at value resort between 8/21 - 10/3, and it had to be booked by May 11. Unfortunately, we're just leaving WDW on 8/12! At least I got an e-mail with a code, which is encouraging for the future.

There is no discount. $109 is the rack rate for the value resorts during the summer. I feel bad for others that receive this & think there getting a deal. We all know better.;)

I hope I get that one!:thumbsup2

I need a discount for our first 4 nights.:wizard:

For those of you who got a PIN with your email - does is actually say PIN #? Mine says CST#*******. I took that to mean "customer number" not a PIN.

I got an email with a Pin code for $57 per night... probably won;t use it though.. We are going for Thanksgiving.. Doesn't that just about figure!

CST is a "California Seller of Travel" number.. it's required by law to be in every promotion that Disney does that may be sent to California residents.

A PIN or OFFER code is clearly identified in an offer if the offer is predicated on it.

I also got one of the $57 a night pin codes for stays Aug-Oct 3rd. Tried to tell DH how important it is we use this and how rare/valuable pin codes are but he's still not buying it! :sad1: He keeps insisting that we head to DL this year. I keep staying DL did not offer us a pin code!

When you get an email from Disney what does it say the sender is ? I've gotten DIsney Insider emails but that is it as far as I'm aware.

Oh - I could use that darn pin email. Please Disney, send me one!

Ireceived the same email for 11/25-12/19. I actually have a package through AAA (so it doesn't show on WDW computer yet), and I got a better discount there.

mine went to my junk mail even though I have added disney as a contact. Here is what mine said.
Stay in a standard room at a select Disney Value Resort
in September at the special rate of
$66* (per night, plus tax)!
Available most nights 8/21–10/3/07
