For 2 cents! :lmao::lmao::lmao:

I don't know if it was worth the effort to even open the envelope. :rotfl: I may cash it though just because of the principal of the suit and why should the lawyers get my 2 cents.;)

Mine was $0.38

Lawyers got something like $16 million. I hate class-action suits. It's not about consumers. It's about lawyers.

I got 3 cents. Now, I can retire. :lmao:

Make sure it doesn't bounce....I once got a dividend check for 14-cents and it bounced...

Mine was over $6. Not sure how they determined payout.

Wow, I feel for you. I received a class action settlement once, but it was yours is just a fraction at only 1.43% of what I got.

I know I took that $1.34 from the settlement and immediately used some for a downpayment on a house (Littlest Petshop house for my kid), bought a new car (Hot Wheels), and invested the rest (in a handful of penny candy.)

Just yesterday I received a settlement check (Foreign Currency Fee Litigation) for $18.00. If my check was that much how much did those lawyers make?

p.s. Congratulations to everyone on their windfalls! :p

I use Ebay, but did not get one of these checks? What was the suit about?

If you sold something on ebay between x & y dates and under x, y & z categories you got a rebate of a portion of your final value fees.

I'm thinking about investing my checking.....

in a pack of gum!:lmao:

mine was 39 cents. Ripped it up and threw it away. Hope it screws up the accounting for years.

Got my Ebay check ($1.31)

You should also be included in a Netflix/Walmart Class action suit , Ticketmaster, and Verizon wireless if you had/have during the time periods for these lawsuits.

The only solution to class action suits is to make the lawyers take their payment in multiples of what the average class member received. In other words, if the average class member got a check for a quarter, the lawyers would receive 64 million checks, each for $0.25.

That would cut way down on the bogus settlements where the class is awarded worthless coupons, because the lawyers would never consent to getting paid in coupons.

What I would prefer to see is a lottery, so only 1 person in a hundred gets a check. That way instead of everyone in this forum getting a few pennies (I got six cents), one of us would get a useful check for six bucks.
