For my signature size Totally understand why, it was my own stupid fault for not being able to read properly. However, one thing I don't understand is that the post on which it was picked up now has a yellow card to show I had a warning - but it makes it look like I said something wrong in my post, which I didn't Obviously, I've now removed the offending picture from my siggie - is there any way of having that card removed? I didn't get any points or anything, if that make a difference.

I don't quite understand all the signature sizing stuff. do you think I am ok ?

Ali - you're fine with your images, but you're over on the number of lines. You're allowed a maximum of 12 including blank lines and I think you have 14. It can be hard to tell, but if you go into your signature as if to edit it, you should be able to see how many gaps there are. Removing some of the blank lines will fix it.

If you are unsure if a photo or picture is the correct size, then go to the Tech Support Forum and test it there

This happened to me too. It was completely unintentional, and I was quite upset about the harshness of the tone of the warning.....

I didn't take it personally at all as I know that it wasn't meant personally. The mods are just doing their job and if I've got a yellow card somewhere it will go again once the warning expires.

If you have a programme like Photshop, you can keep the size within requirements but change the pixel ratio to fit in the rules.

The multiple pics bit always confuses me as a single picture which is slightly over the gudielnes is far less in total file size and area than multiple smaller pictures which seemingly adhere to the guidelines. I know in other forums I've been on the multiple pictures all had to in total be within the stated guideline.

You originally had 3 pictures and 1 countdown ticker, which is 4 images, and the limit is 3, so you only needed to remove one of them.

I have Absolutely No Clue whether I am OK on my Signiture.. I always check mine to see if it's OK, however, after the Signiture has been Saved the Whole Thing Gets Resized when I post anyway so 12 lines could become 13...

I think I am Legal, I think...

I got a warning too a few days ago, and at first i was flummoxed as i always pay attention to dimensions of images, but never thought to check the pixels on such small pics, I have learnt my lesson now, thankyou mods for setting me straight
Actually it was kind of funny as i don't think I've ever had a warning for anything, no parking tickets, no school detention, it felt quite rebellious

After reading this post I checked my signature , and shock horror, I was illegal too! I had 15 lines of text when I should only have 12 (including the ticker and the gaps) so I have now tried to change the size of the font, and put all my trips together instead of below each other as a list. Fortunately this must have eacaped the notice of the powers that be, as I have not had a warning. A narrow escape there I think. I didn't even realise there were guidelines.......sorry for that!
