I got a raise!

Was not expecting a raise, but my co-worker said, "You need to check your paystub!" Well...okay I thought, now what?

Woo Hoo!! $1.00 an hour raise...I know, not much, but every little bit helps.
When I thanked my boss he said, "It's not a raise, it's to help pay for gas!"

Congrats!!! That definitely does make a difference... that's like 2,000 more a year if you're working full time!!

A coworker got a raise right before I got hired- 16 cents an hour (let's just say, he's not an "overachiever").

$1/hr is a lot!
