I got a Postcard- have a question

I feel like i have read 100 posts but haven't seen any that refer to the same postcard i got yesterday. It has all of the Sleeping Beauty characters on it and it is for $49 a day per person at value resorts for stays 9/28-11/25, 11/29-12/3, and 12/13-12/23. Price is for hotel and theme park admission.

Did anybody else get this same one?

That's the one I got. Is that a good deal? I'm guessing free dining is a better offer.

I think it's a great deal. I already had reservations at POFQ for 7 nights w/ basic dining and park hopper(no water park). When I called it wasn't available at POFQ so we changed resorts to CSR, which is fine. The saving was $542.
Sooooo since the saving was so good we decided to add a night w/ dining of course and our ticket was already for 8 days. So with the additional night at no additional out of pocket we are still getting a refund of $334. I'd say thats pretty good. We are me, dh, ds(9), ds(6) and ds(1). I am beyond happy.

I got this postcard too. It was addressed to my dad, but mailed to my address. Unfortunately, we're looking for deals in january so we weren't able to take advantage.

We got that offer but it was only going to save us $135 and we were going to have to switch resorts so I didn't bother.

I got it too....I keep calling back and each time get a new story. 1. no rooms at Bc 2. only used on standard room and none ava at YC, then they needed a 3 night min, I was only booking for 2, 3. they had waterview ava I was booking standard which would come out slightly more than what I had booked. I want to use this so bad it is driving me crazy.

I got that one. it was mailed to my MIL house we haven't lived there in 10 years we have been to disney several times since we have lived there. I thought that was strange. we couldn't use it our dates are in 09 but finally got a pin code. so I was happy to see it in person.

I received the $371 per adult PIN and don't ya know it doesn't cover the dates we'll be there. It covers the week BEFORE we arrive and the week AFTER we leave. I'm bummed trying to figure out a way to use this PIN (it's been a long time since I got one!) but with gas prices the way they are I'm lucky to be making a trip this year at all. Guess I need to overcome my fear of flying!

I got that postcard, too. The first time I called, the CM said that I couldn't apply it to our room-only reservation. Then I decided to call back and the 2nd CM did end up applying it to our reservation. It's not a big discount over our AAA rate but it was still $25 per room (we have 2 rooms) so that's $50 more for meals and souvenirs!

Still hoping to see a Disney VISA rate and hoping it'll save us even more.....

I was shocked when it didn't have blackout dates for when we're going in October.

Now, we're trying to decide what to do.

Our current AAA package at POP is $2,204.94

PIN package would be $1,966.62
PIN package at CSR would be $2,302.74.

So, we're looking at this 2 ways. 1) we can save $238.32 and stay at POP OR 2) we can spend $97.80 more and stay at CSR.

Oh, what to do?

I also got a AKL rate just to see, knowing, can't afford to stay there - $2,910 for 6 nights for the 4 of us. I wish we could do that.

I got the same post card. We have never stayed on-site so this will be the first time. We are staying at AS Movies for 5 nights and got the 10 day no expiration tickets. We saved 423.00.

To me, mods are worth an extra $97 over what you had already budgeted. Go for it!!!

ETA: I got the same pin last week and we are taking advantage! I tried to get a discount in May and wasn't able to so getting CSR for $99 a night is great to me.

I called and got a rate for Pop Century- 5 nights, 2 adults and 2 kids (4yo and 2o) with basic tickets for $935 in October. Is that a good rate?

We got the same postcard. I called yesterday to use it for our reservation at ASSp. We already had booked with AAA, but it threw me off when the CM said that we had a preferred room. We always book standard, but DH made the ressie and I guess he accidentally booked preferred.

I went ahead and changed to a standard room using the PIN code, but when I got off the phone and did the math, it looks like the PIN code is 15% and AAA was 20%. I hope I didn't make a big mistake!

So I called back just now to compare "apples to apples" - standard room with AAA or PIN, but the system is down and they said to call back in about an hour.

I was so excited to get a postcard with a PIN code because I never get them, but it's kind of disappointing that it's such a small discount.

I haven't been lucky yet, but others have posted that they asked if there was anything attached to their names and they have gotten discounts. It's worth a shot to me!
