I got a pin offer, finally ... questions

What are the chances of throwing together a very last minute trip in two weeks?!? I mean, getting ADRs, etc.? I am giddy at the idea. The airfare is cheap too!

But most of my questions pertain directly to the pin code. Others who have used it, can the MYW package and DDP be added on if using one? It lists the value resort rate as $59, but says other resorts are available ... anyone book a deluxe and, if so, can you give me a ballpark idea of your discount? Is this actually similar to the general discount or is it greater than the other discounts offered. I hadn't done any research for this time of year, so I just don't know.

Thanks for any info you can offer, esp. other resort rates.

I'm not sure what the rate would be for a deluxe, but I was under the impression that if you want to get the DDP, the only discount you can use is AAA. You would not be able to use the Pin Code you have.

To answer my own questions - in case it helps anyone else.

MYW package - yes, with pin code
MYW package w/dining - no, with pin code

The pin code rates for deluxes were fantastic though. Very limited availability. Pretty sure we are going to squeeze in a trip in, gulp, two weeks. Yikes, I think my head might explode with all the planning!

Pin codes are special resort offers they randomly send to people. They are not transferrable and there doesn't seem to by a lot of rhyme or reason as to who gets them.

Only a couple deluxes were available. Rates were $214 for AKL savannah (rack is $330), BWI $234 (rack rate is $345).

We've been planning a trip for the end of Nov. I priced a package using the MYW link, and then also called in because I just got a PIN a couple of days ago. The rep told me that the MYW discount was the same as my PIN code discount...and they couldn't be combined in anyway. So...regular price for Nov 26 - Dec 1 at PO was $1498.91 (w/ 6 day park hopper for 2 adults, 1 kid)...and the same priced with my PIN was $1273.91. HTH~

Hi! So glad to hear you're planning a last minute trip -- did you end up not going last month? We ended up going with the baby, it was awesome! And we bought into DVC -- couldn't help it anymore LOL.
