Interesting - got a PM from someone suggesting I try booking a package with a 1-day park ticket (since we already have YES tickets) and see if it works. There is only a 2-day option, and it hardly reduces the price at all.

I'm coming up with 8 nights @ Port Orleans, 2-day tickets for 5 plus QS FD for $2516. It would be $450 more to do 7-day MYW tickets (like we have).

I think it's still worth it for us to stay off-site ($850 inclusive for 8 nights in a 4 bedroom house at Emerald Island - private pool!), use the 7-day Base YES tickets, and eat as we had planned (quick service when in the parks, breakfast at the house). We'd have to eat almost $1500 worth of quick service dining to make that even break even with what we already have planned. Plus, we'll be staying in a huge house with a private pool - no one sleeping on a trundle!

Oh - and YES tickets are the Youth Education Series tickets - there are threads all about that on the boards. Basically, you sign your children up for a cool class, and get discounted park tickets in return. Win-win!

We've received at least 6 PINS in the past 3 years.They always come from Disney Destinations in email. Once we got a PIN in the mail. The message line for our email says "A delicious deal on Disney Dining XXX family!"

We were able to get the PIN code applied to our trip in May! HAPPY DANCE! We have 3 rooms and we were able to apply it to all 3 rooms. I hope it works out for more of you to be able to get trips with the PINs.

I just checked my email. I got a PIN for FD too. But, I'm not going to use it, either.

So, I noticed on there that if you book Deluxe you get the DDP, and if you book moderate or value you get the QSDP. I thought the moderate got you the DDP, not the QSDP. When did that change?

Anyway, for the above poster, the dates are for 4/23-8/13. You have to book by 4/30.

It changed with this PIN. The last public FD offer was as you remember. This PIN is when moderates changed to QSDP.

I just was jumping up and down thinking that i would probably receive one, because.. and don't all jump on me about this .. since I booked my trip back in October, I have recieved 3 different pin codes.. I have been able to apply 2.. but because of it.. we are doing a split stay.. so 4 nights at the Coronado and 4 nights at the Poly.. So.. I guess even if we get the FD code we can't use it..

No stacking. You'll have to see which is the better savings for you and choose

well i did get a pin but it isnt going to work for us...since we are november boy oh boy do i hope they have a new free dining code for november (now another reason I cant wait for April to be over)

I got it this morning, too!! If I have a kids stay and play free reservation, can I just call and have the PIN applied, or does the "No Stacking" rule apply?

My son and DIL have 2 kids ages 6 & 8 and we are staying at ASSp. The free dining was still about $50 cheaper than kids stay and play free for them....figuring they will spend about the same as the QSDP would cost if it wasn't free. Not a huge savings for them, but it was a huge savings for DH and I traveling with no kids and also for our other son and DIL with a 7 yr old and a 10 yr old (10 didn't qualify for kids stay and play free).

I want to take my Mom with us. Can I book free dining/room for DH, DD (11), me and my Mom.....and squeeze my little guy in? He sleeps with us anyway......and we would be doing QSDP.....so could I just pay OOP for his meals and buy his tickets there?

You can use your code for two rooms. So book a room for your family and one for your mom.

You can use your code for two rooms. So book a room for your family and one for your mom.

Or you could crowd everyone into a room that actually sleeps 5 people instead of crowding them into a room designed for 4 people. Like a POR trundle room or a deluxe with a daybed or a deluxe villa.
