I got my first pin code in an email today! Sorry, just had to do a little happy dance! We aren't planning a trip until April 2017 and the code is for this fall/winter so I won't be able to use it. But I'm just excited that I got one!

This is my second year in a row getting one around this time. Mine was a room discount for fall dates. Oddly enough, we've had reservations both times I've received a PIN code for the dates included in the PIN. My reservations have both been FD bounce back offers, so I'm not sure why I keep getting the PIN (not that I'm complaining). I priced it out just in case, and we're still coming out cheaper with our BB.

Were any October dates included in that pin code?

Do you where they come from or why some people get them? I have never received one in an email. I remember in years past getting one in the mail but never by email?

They come from Disney Destinations and no one has figured out the reasoning behind who gets them and when.

I don't know. Disney seems to add me to every mailing list they ever had ever since I was a Disneyland AP out in L.A. 10 years ago...and they have multiple email lists for every business unit. I get about 10 Disney emails a week.

Heck, they are sill bombarding me with reminders for the pin code for this summer.

I got one too. It was under one of my other email addresses. Would they attach it to a reservation made under a different email address, same person and home info? I wasn't certain if they would and I know the phone lines are probably still really busy so I made a new reservation using the email address that the UOC came with and cancelled my reservation under the different email address.

I was a little bummed when the RO discounts didn't come out with the Free Dining all the way to the end of the year. Problem resolved now. Yay!:dogdance:

I got one to! I'm locked in for 11/5-11/9. So none of the current discounts really helped me since they end on 11/5. But this new discount extends to 11/22, which is perfect for me.

Does anyone have problems with them not working? I got my first pin code today, but when I try to follow the link through to see the offer, it says that my "information provided does not match" their records. Am currently on hold with Disney on at least a 45 minute wait... Which is great for the Disney music, but a little awkward at work...

Did you get the pin code under someone else's name?

Yes, it should be attached to your household information in their system.

When I called, they had no problem with it. Maybe a glitch in the system or, at some point, someone misspelled our last name? Either way, there was nothing available for the location/dates we were hoping for.

Is this really a pin code? I got that email as well and it just looked a generic email offer dressed up with a "unique offer code". Also, an hour on hold resulted in zero offers matching my travel dates and resort choice.

We also got the email with a pin code for those dates this morning.

This year we are headed to Disneyland instead so it felt wrong to just delete it. Lord knows if I'd start pricing it out we'd end up with 2 trips. Must. Resist.

Mine was XXXX XXXX. Much shorter than I thought legit pin codes were.
