I got a pin but... need advice

Ok I FINALLY got a pin!!!! I am SO happy but it's not for the time I'm going. I know people on here have mentioned if the pin wasn't good for the time they were going they could use it for another time? What exactly is that and how do I go about checking on it?

I've not heard of being able to use a current pin for another time outside of the specific dates .

Sometimes Pins can be obtained by calling Disney direct and asking them if there are any associated with your name - not all Pins are emailed out.

The pin you received is only good for you and for the time period that you received it.

Pins are not tranferable to another person.

You can call CRO and ask if there is pin code attached to your account; maybe there is and maybe there is not.

You can call Disney and ask if you have a Pin for the time you are going.
Last year I called with our room discount pin and was told I also had one for free DDP. I never got that email. It can't hurt to ask. The worst they can say is no.
