I Got A Job at the Disney Store!!!

Ok,
So I know the Disney Store is not really part of "Disney" any more but hey, I got a job there as a Cast Member and I get to see all the very cool disney stuff that they get in!!! I am so excited!!! I start next weekend.
So...I just had to share the good news

Earlier this year, I applied for a job at WDW as a Stage Audio Tech and just now got a letter back stating that they sent my resume to be reviewed, but my skills did not fit any of their, VERY LIMITED, current openings.

I am loving the job!!! My first day was Sunday and I was a floor greeter, welcoming everyone to the store and helping out our guests. It is a wonderful place to work. I just applied to three Disney Professional Internships, one of them was Guest Services for guest with disabilities. I am also going to apply for the College Program..I hope something good will come from it

Spotdog, I was reading on the Disney Careers website that if they have your resume in their system they sometimes call when a position becomes available in an area that matches your skills so maybe you will hear from them in the future
