Just wanted to let every one know about the fabulous deal I got on Priceline for airfare for three and six nights at the Swan. We were just considering a vacation to Disneyworld, when I logged on to their site. I mean that we had not taken off of work yet or anything. I wasn't really serious when I put in a bid of $950.00. I was absolutely sure that it would be declined. I picked some dates and put in my credit card and twenty minutes later I realized that I had gotten it. For the mere price of $950.00 I had round trip air fare for three from Louisville to Orlando and SIX nights at the newly refurbished Swan!!! I nearly fell on the floor. I had priced airfare and was planning on spending that much just on the airfare, much less six nights at a Deluxe. I had to call the hotel and make sure it was for real. It was. We got back last week and the only charges we had at the hotel were the $10 a day resort fee that was taken off of our bill (without any complaint by us) simply because they had received a fax for me and it didn't get delivered until that afternoon. I even told them that the fax wasn't very important. The hotel is wonderful.
I hope this helps everyone out. Needless to say we were extremely exstatic.

wow that is really one of the best Priceline stories I have read. how great !!:smooth:

Wowsa!

What a great deal! Congratulations :). It's good to see PL's vacation product doing well for you.

Holy Cow! That’s amazing. How were your flights? I’m always afraid to use Priceline for air travel since you don’t know what you’ll get. I’m always afraid I’ll be stuck with bad timing and long layovers. But with the deal you got, even if you had a terrible flight itinerary, it would have been well worth it!

The air travel itinerary was perfect for us. We left Louisville at 1:15 pm (2:15 Orlando time) and arrived in Orlando at 3:50. On the return trip we left Orlando in the evening for the nonstop flight home. We got split up, one of us in the front of the plane and the other two near the middle on the return flight. However, this was not the fault of Priceline. It was our fault for arriving late to the airport. The trip to Orlando had assigned seats, but the return trip did not.
