I got a free dining offer!

I'm one of those people that never get any pin codes from WDW, although I've been there 35 times. Well, I guess today was my lucky day! I got, what sounds like anyway, the extended free dining for the dates of September 28-October 11. I say it sounds like it because I thought that free dining only went until the end of September (I've never been during this time, so don't keep up with it.) Unfortunately, I won't be able to go since I'm leaving on a Disney cruise next week and won't have the cash lying around, but thought that others may want to know about this.

WDW is sending out targeted PIN code offers for free dining packages in October and November (possibly December too). You must receive the email with the PIN code to be eligible for the offer. and different emails appear to have different date ranges.

Looks like they couldn't fill the resorts any other way.

Since 2005 the dates for the regular free dining promo for the general public are usually released in April. Free dining is usually the last week of August through September, give or take a few days. You had to book this year's free dining package by June 22, so you are not eligible for those dates.

As for the October "free dining" dates that are being posted now, starting late last week, Disney destinations sent out some emails with "free dining" pin codes attached. This is the first time that I have ever heard of anyone being offered free dining outside of the normal dates. But, you must receive the email from Disney Destinations with a pin code with your name attached to it to recieve the offer. The pin codes are non-transferable. So you are not eligible for these October free dining dates unless you receive the specific email and pin code.

I would call Disney direct and ask if you happen to have the pin code attached to your name. You might get lucky. Last year they were giving out upgrades for the resort I was staying at via email. I was never notified, but when I called they said I was eligible and I got the upgrade. It is worth a try to see if you can get free dining.

I booked through a Trarvel Agent so I guess I'll contact her and see if she can check it out. I'm going Sept 29th - Oct. 4th and already paid for the Dining plan. That would be a nice surprise to get back a few hundred dollars. More to spend on my Grandkids. I hope it can be added

I booked through a travel agent too. Did it work when you called the Travel Agent?
