Forget Frances...my 19 year old is sitting in Tiger Stadium...waiting for the LSU game to start. They are being deluged with rain, the field is flooding...they pulled the band and the teams off the field because of all the lightening and where is my son? Still sitting in the aluminum stands...drenched...

Update*Some of the students were apparently "slip and sliding" on the field during the delay and were arrested...OK he has a great track record so far, but I am sitting here going "he wouldn't". Someone slap me. LMAO

OH no Dopey, I can so relate. I have twin 17yo sons who sometimes seem to have no common sense. They live to surf during hurricane season. I have actually gone to the beach and embarrased them by dragging them out during a lightening storm. There are truly times when I am exhausted from worrying about them. I once posted on here when you stop worrying about your kids and the consensus was pretty much never.

Mine is 25 and I still worry about her. When my nephew lived with us, I got frustrated with him and told him I was tired of worrying about him. He informed me that he was 18 and I didn't need to worry about him. I told him that when he is 40 years old I will still worry about him.

I know how you feel. Mine are 14 and 17, and the best feeling in the world to me is when they are both home at night, in their own beds sleeping.

Sorry...

Looks like we brought LSU our weather... :umbrella:

Go Beavs!

Yeah... I know we probably won't win, but at least it won't be a blowout! :)
