I just wanted to share with people who will understand my excitement. Back in February I ordered tickets for our upcoming October trip through Maple Leaf Tickets. I linked them to my account and then forgot about them. One day in April I started wondering about them and looked where I thought I put them. But they weren't there, or any place I looked. I really thought they accidentally got thrown away. Fast forward to today and I while I was cleaning my kitchen, I dumped out a container on the counter. And there they were! I'm sure I looked in that container when I was searching for them months ago, but just didn't see them. Finding them made my day. I know that I don't necessarily need the physical ticket since they are linked to my account, but it gives me peace of mind.

I understand your happiness! Believe me I do!

I "misplaced" my original birth certificate in my IL townhome (which I never told my mother who had threatened my life when she gave it to me not to lose it). I knew it was somewhere, but not in any of my normal safe keeping spots which I would keep checking like it would magically reappear. This was 2006. Fast forward to August 2013 when I am packing like a maniac & moving to FL in less than a week...tah dah!!!!!!!! Thank god I didn't just dump that drawer of papers!

FWIW unless you have an amazingly unusual birthplace situation, you could have ordered another "original". An "original BC" just means a "certified birth certificate". None of them are THE BC, after all; the first one you got is just the first one printed and stamped as certified.

Congrats.
However, similar to what is pointed out above about "original BC," you really do not "need" the original Maple Leaf tickets as they have been successfully linked to your MDE account. In so doing, your tickets have been "acknowledged and authorized" by Disney.

IF you are staying at a WDW Resort, (or purchasing MagicBands) you can use your MagicBands at WDW and never need the original tickets.
(You certainly can take the original tickets with you to Disney, but it is very unlikely that you'll ever need them.)

Happy for you , seems like I misplace something weekly. Then spend a half day finding a key, watch, etc. So you have a great visit to WDW.
