? I forget, what happens extra during MVMCP

We have gone to a Christmas party before. DH really likes the decorations at disney and so we said let's go. Alrighty then let's book. We will either go to the party at 4pm and stay till close and that will be our only MK day. Or we go the day after the party it opens at 9am and closes at 10pm but it has 2 hour late night hours. Our kids are older and at least two of us will go alllll day. We will wander thru the park eat and snack all day. And D S will play the kingdom sorcerers game. So other than cookies and Coco what would we miss if we just did the park all day and not the party?

The party has the special Christmas parade. There are special fireworks. It snows on Main Street. There are lots of extra character meet and greets (many of the characters in Holiday outfits), some characters you don't usually see. There are dance parties with the characters. A special show in front of the castle. Because most people are doing the party things, the ride lines are usually shorter than normal.
