Made the difference between Free Dining (hopefully-!) at PO and Paying for Dining at Wilderness Lodge!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a % off pin that is good through the rest of the year. DH and I want to take an adults only trip in Oct/Nov for the F&WF but will only go if we get a large % off discount. Free dining won't help us.

I have done just about everything and still no pin! I'm starting to wonder if they hate my family?

My sister has been going to Disney for with her family ever since her oldest was 2 years old. (He's now 16) and she has never got a pin.

Okay, I'm still a bit new around here, but I looked over the site for a week reading lots and lots of threads before booking. Here is my pin advice, I posted it to another member a few days ago in this thread. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2426181

Well, I don't know about the list, but I'll tell you what I did. We are booked for the week after Thanksgiving for a 5 night stay, when I made the reservation I asked about PIN codes and discounts, the CM just told me to keep watch on the site... So I looked around the board for help and found some suggestions..

I went to the main page of the Disney World website and ordered the "Planning DVD" (apparently this gets you into some system). Then I logged into my account on the Disney World site and ordered the "Custom Maps" after that I would just spend about 10-15 minutes on the site every night planning and saving packages. I did this for about a week, and then one night after getting back from eating I had an email from Disney with a PIN Code inside. I called and gave it to the CM, it was applied to my account right away. The code we received was for a discount on the rooms.

35% off Deluxe, 30% off Moderate and 25% off Value.

Don't feel bad - I've been doing the same thing and no pins for me EVER! I think I live too close . . . .
