I finally received my AAA tickets!!!

Does anybody know for sure what # to call to order the passport plus tickets?

714-520-5050, If you are or were a disneyclub member the 800# for Disneyland on the back of your card will work also:D
Hope this helps!

Is it safe to call AAA....I worry like one post said about them sending the regular Passport tickets and not the Plus tickets. The difference in price isn't that great over calling WDTC. What do you all think....(We are staying onsite so parking isn't an issue....were there any extra freebies from AAA?) If AAA will really know what I'm talking about, I'd like to order from them because I need a National Parks Pass also(by golly if I'm driving all the way actross the country, we're going to see every national treasure along the way!) and they could send everything in one order. So....what do I do?????

I would call AAA and make sure my passes would be recieved in time for my trip. WDTC FED EXed my passes and I got them in about 4 Bussiness days. AAA is also a very reliable travel company so if you order early enough I really don't think you can go wrong either way:D :D

As one poster mentioned, I was the one that received the wrong tickets from Disney. After several phone calls - only to find the right party to speak with, I was allowed to return the "wrong passes" and reorder the "correct" (the ones I wanted in the first place) tickets.

The people at the Disney office were extremely nice about my situation. As a matter of fact, they actually called me back to discuss what I had to do with the tickets I wanted to return. They credited my credit card within 5 days of receiving the "wrong" tickets back.

For me personally, I give them a thumbs up. I received nothing less than courteous and professional service. This is one of the reasons I love doing business with Disney.

Have a nice night.

Okay. Off phone. That was an exercise in frustration. The AAA number transferred me to someplace. The agent transferred me to a cashier. She tried to send me Disney World tickets. Said they didn't have anything for DL. She sent me back to an agent who tried to sell me the regular flex tickets(only had 2 of them....someone forgot to pick them up..OOOPPS!) Said she'd never heard of Passport Plus tickets and that it wasn't a AAA product, at least in this area of the country.

So, I'm back to square one, which isn't where I wanted to be. I guess I'll just call WDTC and have them sent at a higher cost. At least they aren't clueless. I can be assured that the tickets will actually be good in California, and that I won't have to drive back across the country to enter the gate in Orlando!

Just a quick note: From what I've read in this thread, When you allow for shipping the AAA and WDTC price are about the same.
Sorry for all your frustration but I know when you do finally get to Disneyland you'll have the best time!

The front desk at local AAA office didn't know what the Passport Plus tickets were either. You need to talk to one of the travel agents at AAA and tell them to look at p. 18 of the Disneyland brochure to read about them.

I ordered them today from WDTC. Gave up on AAA. I'd put them on my "list"(which isn't where you want to be;) !) except for the innumerable maps and tour books I've ordered at no cost for my across the country exploration. They didn't even make me pay in full now. WDTC said since we weren't coming until June, I was welcome to just pay $200 and the balance 30 days prior to arrival.

Now that that is all set, I just realized I'll be driving about 6000 miles pretty soon and I frankly don't like to drive....kinda scares me actually. Guess that is a whole different topic though!:o

PS: I did try referring the AAA agent to their Disneyland Book and the page describing the tickets....but they said they don't carry DL literature!

Does anyone know if the $10 ESPN game cards can be used for food instead?

We didn't ask, but I would guess no. The people downstairs (food) wouldn't even look at our cards & just said to go upstairs (games). They crossed off the ESPN part on the card & gave us a rechargeable card. It seemed to be 2 separate businesses. I know the people downstairs (and there was always a big line there in the evening) wouldn't be able to do it, but maybe if you asked for a manager they could work something out!
