:cheer2: :cheer2: I got the cutest little towel animals at the WL after 4 STAYS---FINALLY!!!!!!!

They were so cute....a little bunny and a penguin!!! A super great Mousekeeper named DINA made them and they were waiting for me on the sink and one on the bed!!!!!!!

I know that seems silly, but it just made my stay!!!!!!!! :flower: :flower: :flower:

Thank you mousekeeping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats!

We got one at ASMusic last year and are still arguing over whether it is a peacock or an elephant. We call it our cockephant!

YEAH!!! We got an angle on our lamp our last stay, it was the first towel animal/thing we had ever gotten too. Aren't they GR8!!

How funny... we got towel animals everyday during our Easter vacation at WL. By the time we left, we had a zoo. :teeth:

When we were there last August - Sept. we were there for seven days and got two maybe three animals. I wish we got them everyday. We looked forward to seeing them when we got back to the room. But only got three :sad2: .

We have stayed at AKL and at POP but have never gotten a towel animal.I wish so much that this year will be the year.My girls would be so excited. So would Mom. LOL... April ::MickeyMo

I know how great it feels to get them..

We mostly get Ducks, But last year we also got a Doll, Very Fancy!.. A ghost, and an Angel...
Then the Toys set up watching TV, sitting on the potty, etc..

I love my Mousekeepers!!

I was looking forward to getting some this year....but I never did....it was let down....but still a wonderful place to stay!

I'd never have the nerve to myself (fear of being blacklisted from staying on Disney property forever, LOL) But I'm just wondering if anyone has had the gumption to keep their towel animal?

We were there the week after Easter. We never got an animal, but what we got was so much fun.

Day 1: Teddy, Pooh and JoJo were "riding" on Splash Mountain. This was too cute! A rolled towel secured on each end became the boat, and a strategically folded towel with a blue plastic bag insert, was the water chute over the edge of the bed. There was a note that said, "Oh no -- Splash Mountain!"

Day 3: Came back to the room, wondering why we left the TV on. We knew we had turned it off. Seemed like the toy gang had settled in on the top bunk to watch the Disney Channel -- complete with the remote!

Day 4: I guess the toys had too much fun while we were out, because they were all taking a nap, snuggled under DD's blankie.

Simple, but so much fun!

HOW FUN!!!

I have stayed on property at different resorts everytime I have been to Disney and yet I have NEVER had a towel animal waiting for me!

Oh well, I guess I will just have to keep going back until I get one!! ;)

:confused3 Was I not supposed to??????? I kept my penguin and bunny!!!!!! :earseek: :earseek:

We got some during our Christmas stay at the WL in concierge. They were angels and clowns. So nice!

Congrats!
Towel animals are so much fun. We got them for the first time on our Honeymoon this past November, also at WL. We got three of them: a penguin (one of my two fave animals, so I was squealing with delight), a bunny and a little guy with a big nose (and my glasses perched on it) reclining on our bed watching TV.
Mousekeeping rocks.
Cheers,

When we stayed at WL last October, we had a towel animal/doll waiting for us each day. My 5 year old grandson couldn't wait to get back to the room every day to see what the mousekeeper had left for him. He slept with them, so by the end of our trip the bed was pretty full! :rotfl:

On our last day he asked the Mousekeeper if he could take one home, and she said that he could. He chose the gingerbread man. I went to visit him last week (he lives in Florida), and he showed me his treasure box where he keeps his prized possessions, and was I surprised to see the little towel gingerbread man still perfectly intact, in his little box of treasures!

Has anyone noticed a relationship between a good mousekeeping tip your first day and whether or not you get towel animals? We're going in October, and I would love to have that little surprise waiting for my kids when we get back from a long day at the parks. Certainly a little extra I'd be willing to pay a bit more for.

We left a tip every day with a thank-you note in it, but that's not why we left one. I figure that the mousekeeping staff has a LOT of work to to, and a tip is just a little way of saying thanks. We didn't get towel surprises every day, but when we did, it was fun.

We were at POR for thanksgiving a year or so ago and they made us TURKEYS!!!
