Before I know it, it'll be time to leave for the next trip (April 29-May7)! I wish the codes would come out already, so I know if I'm staying at Pop Century again or get to try French Quarter for the first time (I've done all 3 other moderates, I want to add this one to the list!)

Well, to quote Princess Aurora's trip report, "Those codes suck!" We ended up upgrading to a moderate anyway, PO Riverside, and booking through AAA. I think we only saved a couple hundred, but everyone's happy about a moderate. I'm hoping for a mansion, my 2 teenage dd's and I stayed in the Alligator Bayou section 2 years ago.

This upcoming trip will include:

Me, Jaime, 38 (arg!) - 14th trip and about as Disney obsessed as YOU are (yes, YOU.)

Rhonda, older sister (55, but you never heard that from me) also about as Disney obsessed as a person can get. She's on her 20th or 30th trip, it's pointless to count any more.

Judi, older sister, just celebrated her 60th! (We held the Winter Old-Limp-Ic Games as a surprise party for her. It was hysterical and now I own a CD of Olympic music). Judi is NOT a Disney person.

Ron, BIL, Judi's husband, 60-something... this man is family and I have no idea how old he is! Should make a note to find out. Actually, not a bad idea to make a LIST of things to talk to Ron about - otherwise he tells me about fishing. Yup, Ron's a fisherman. He does those trips up to Canada, where they drop you off in the wilderness for a week. That's a lot of trust, if you ask me - you're in the middle of NOWHERE (sorry, Canadians) and you trust someone to come back for you??? Closest I come to that is getting on It's a Small World - 'cause there's a point in the middle where I think, "What if it never ends???" Oh! And Ron HATES hot weather!

Now I know what you're thinking (no, not why am I reading this!) - Why are Judi and Ron going on this trip???? She's not a Disney person, he hates hot weather! I'll tell you why:

Our 5th person is 5 year old Lauren. She's mine and Rhonda's great-neice, but Judi & Ron's granddaughter! She's been to Disneyworld a whopping total of ONCE! Last January (2005), when she wasn't even 4 yet. The weird part is that she remembers the whole trip! You can mention a ride or a character, and Lauren's ready to discuss it! I was one of those people who thought 3 was too young to remember a trip, but maybe not. And Lauren's big news? She wants to ride Tower of Terror! When she was 3, she loved Big Thunder Mountain and Star Tours. It was too cold to try Splash. The kid's a thrill rider!

It will also be my first time eating in the Castle. I can't believe I've never done that!

It cracked me up reading (insert picture here). Hey your next trip is almost here, you could start a pre-trip.

Thank you, lol! Yeah, I never did get around to finishing the pictures... but I bet a lot of them you could image!

The pre-trip report will be started soon, I'm getting pretty antsy!

I do! I`wear a lime green ribbon on my bag. I'm very excited for this trip, I got 2 new Crocs - pink and purple! I've been on a buying spree to get shirts to go with them! So if anyone sees a big Easter Egg looking woman with a green ribon, that's me!!!!!!!

I'm sorry it took so long to do the pictures! I was dreading it because I didn't realize the Walgreens website would let you transfer them - I had a problem with Snapfish, and they're basically the same site!

Anyway, here's a few more shots that I didn't put IN the report:

Watch when you use your ZOOM - make sure it's not still on when you take the next picture:

This tile is just inside the women's bathroom behind Casey's in the MK. I have always thought it was so pretty:

This dragonfly was right outside our room and was 4 inches long - I kid you not! Freaked us out!

This security guard was in the World of Disney. When we questioned him, he said he didn't feel like having anyone touch him today:

2 comments on this one. Great weather, huh? and we were shocked to see the Osbourne Lights going up so early!

The whole drive down (from Chicago) I kept trying to take pictures of each state's welcome sign. I missed them all! So, for Florida, the sign was at a rest stop and we figured I could get the shot. Rhonda drove very slowly straight at it until I got the shot - then realized she wa about to drive OVER the curb and OVER the sign! But I got my picture:

What a wonderful report! Thank you for posting your pictures - would have loved to join you girls on this trip - you all seemed to have had a great time :woohoo: I'm taking my 5 kids in September for our second trip (first for the youngest 2) and are so anxious (it seems the last trip in 1997 there were hardly any characters around - a couple times they were in groups but couldn't approach them so can't wait to get some photos with them).

Will await anxiously your next report - and your reports are not too vague at all - just right :thumbsup2

What a fun trip! I enjoyed your pictures and like how everything was in one thread. :sunny:

OK - Seeing as she puts in print everything everyone does, I'm going to have to watch what I say and do on this trip. I will say this - That trip was my 34th and I think maybe the best one. We laughed ALL week. I kept waiting for something to happen, like when we were kids and we laughed a lot our Mom would always tell us "keep laughing - someone is going to end up crying" and darn if it didn't come true. BUT on this trip it didn't. The closest anyone (or anything) came to crying was Jaime's feet. :rotfl2:
This trip coming up in 2 weeks (number 35, but who's counting) is going to be great with Lauren. We use to take her Mom and Uncle (her Mom's brother) when they were kids. And then there is Brooke, Lauren's 3 year old sister waiting in the wings for when she's 5 so she can go.
Oh by the way Jaime - it's 11:25 pm right now, but tomorrow I'll show you where you made some boo boo's on your report. ex: the picture of SANDY and I looking at the San Francisco mural - NOT Ruth and myself. More tomorrow.

Good nite all and Happy Easter.

Thanks so much for your funny trip report. Just one question...What is the Goodnight Kiss? :confused3

Thank you so much for finding that for me! It gets me excited to go back. I will definately experience this at least once. K

OMG It was a terrific report and it made me laugh a couple of times but I had to walk away because I was laughing so hard when you told about Tower of Terror , " Dude who told you to follow me ? " hahahahahahahahahahahahahahah making me laugh right now :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

You got NOTHING!!!!!! You don't scare me! You're just mad because I'm Mom's favorite! OK, so I mixed up Sandy and Ruth a couple of times - Hey, why don't you report on what you all did at Universal (you traitors)? I'm sure everyone (but me) would love to hear about your day...
