I felt like a child today going to McDonald's!

My sister & her family just got back last Friday from their trip to WDW. I called her on Sunday to find out about the trip, and she told me the girls (ages 6 1/2 & 3) were driving them crazy. So I volunteered to take them off their hands for the afternoon. I figured I'd take them out to lunch. I knew about the Disney toys, and when I told them, they couldn't wait to go. They each got a Mickey, and they were pretty happy with it. I think I'll go there tomorrow for dinner....a Happy Meal for an auntie seems like a good idea, right?

I know! This is so exciting. I'm excited about the 10 statues BUT I'm even more excited about the 50 cards!!

So far we only have 3 Mickey's, 2 Minnies and 1 Goofy statues and we have #1, 2, 8, 9, 10, 14.

Wow you all are freaks, I can't believe how many pieces you have so far! We just got home from McDonalds and got a Minnie. That's our first piece.

I love this Happiest Celebration on Earth because Disney is everywhere you look!! Have you seen the new McDonalds commerical with Wishes in it?

Tha cards are pretty nice. I have a castle one, which is pretty and also the Monorail one is really nice. Though I have to draw the line at collecting all those, can you imagine how many happy meals I would need to buy, taking into account duplicate cards...!!! It would be like Supersize Me the sequel. Naughty Disney/McD's. My poor DS5 doesn't get to go to McD's as much as he would like, but I have got to stand firm on that...even though I really do secretly want all those cards. Probably going to be Ebaying again for those!

I just got back and got a Minnie! I really want to try to get them all though! Are they doing a character every few days, or is it just the luck of the draw?

We have a Mickey with a castle card and two Tinks - one card is Illuminations and the other is Fantasmic. The girls insisted that I take one of the tinks to work with me...so she has joined the Tink collection on my desk. (Is it okay for a lawyer to have a Tink collection in her office?!)

My McD's let's us trade our toys--if we get one we already have they'll switch it for one we'd rather have. We have Mickey and Goofy--my boys traded them when they each got Minnie.

Yes you can get just the toys...I think they run around $1 a piece. I'm guilty of this when they came out with the madam alexander disney dolls!

Took my DGD for lunch the other day, and MINNIE!!! We didn't know about the promotion, so she was so excited. The card was Micky in a snowglobe, had her talking all afternoon. My DH has been whining about the price of our upcoming trip, as though he is paying for everybody, so when his little princess asked him to take her to Micky's house, it was clinched. Only Pa can take her....not Daddy, because her Pa is the most fun. We will keep going for Happy Meals, and she will keep reminding him that all of her "friends" need to meet her.

Well, of course it's OK for a lawyer to have a Tink Collection! If I were visiting your office and saw that collection, I'd actually breathe a sigh of relief that pixie dust would be sprinkled all over my case. : )

I didn't realize there were cards! Is it possible to get all 50 with just 10 toys? I bought the toy collection off ebay just so I could play with them. I took ds4 to McD's yesterday and they just had Tink. He didn't want her- ended up trading for the Little People motorcycle toy for under 3 yrs of age. Our McD's only has one toy a week....

I'm amazed that our McD's is actually doing them in order. These four were numbered 1,2,3,4. Our stores will sell them without buying all the meals as long as they are not busy.
