I fell off of the exercise wagon...

I have had no energy to exercise this past week. I did my treadmill once and went to the Y only once.

I am on the "Sensible Eating" plan. I challenged myself to not eat any bread, waffles, bagels, etc for a week. I still get plenty of carbs, but maybe not enough?? I don't know! Maybe I should put those things back in my diet.

I promise to do better next week.

I find that the "thought" of exercise is worse than actually doing it. I didn't exercise as much this week even though I KNOW how good I feel after I do it. Tell you what - you get back on the wagon and I will too!;)
 
I've been at a virtual standstill since I've been sick myself. I'm feeling better today, but not 100%. I'm hoping to give myself today too and try it again tomorrow.

Hopefully you'll get back on the wagon too!
 
Well, you didn't exactly fall off- you still went twice! That's good!!
As for the carbs- I am doing Atkins- so my cargbs are very low!! I noticed a decline in energy as well for the first week or so, but now- I have more energy then I usually know what to do with. So, if you feel so inclined- try to hang on for at least another week . I think you'll see aturn around in your energy levels!
 

I have been sticking to the Alex challenge, and have been doing less than 8 carbs a day. I try to exercise everyday and do weights three times a week. I swim once or twice a week too....I can tell you that after the intial wekk and a half I got all my energy back. I do still have to talk myself into going to the Y, though because exercise is not something I have usually done. I hate to get undressed and dressed again, get in the car and go...once I am there though, I get into it real quick and do not mind. I hope you jump back on the wagon soon!!! You can do it!

I think the wagon makes regular stops along the way! :) You can just hop back on the next one that comes by. :) Are you taking a multivitamin? I found I had less energy before I started taking one, but now I take one every day (when I remember) and I feel energized until bed time! :)
