I feel like I've officially lost my mind!

I'm not a designer purse person either.... until the Disney Dooneys came out! March 2010, first trip after Dooneys came out, I got a white sketch tassel and wristlet. Then July 2010, went back and got a purple sketch crossbody bag, which I use EVERY DAY... LOVE that thing!! Then DH just ordered the Mickey tonal letter carrier and balloon cosmetic case for me for Mother's Day (ahem, I mean I ordered them for myself )

I still can't believe I have spent so much on these purses. And I would probably never buy any other designer purses.

BUT... if it's what your daughter wants, then it's great! I also feel that gifts are for that purpose - buying something for someone that they really want but probably wouldn't normally spend the money on.

It arrived yesterday, and she is thrilled, thrilled, thrilled!

When I got home and saw the box, and I had to laugh a little because I can assure you that there is some irony involved in having MY name and Kate Spade on the same box!

Nonetheless, it was pretty (she said it smelled heavenly! ), and my parents gave her a check to go along with it. She and her bag looked very nice together.
