(I'm sorry, I *usually* don't post this sort of thing here, but any other place I'd post it is too close to the other party)
I just graduated college. I had a friend who I was close to my sophomore year, then stuff happened (I got tired of her neediness/boy issues). We kept in touch loosely, but I pretty much stopped contact with her after graduation. She was getting married, I was underwhelmed as I didn't expect it to last, and ashe was being pretty pathetic. Today I checked her livejournal, as it's her borthday and I wanted to e-mail her a card, but didn't know her new address. Turns out she and the boy are over, and she's filing for divorce.
I feel ridiculously guilty.

I completely understand what you are saying. Don't beat yourself up over it. Send her a card and let her know that you are there if she needs you.
