I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas

Remember when you were a kid and it was only a few days away from Christmas and all you could think about was that day? Well, that's how I feel right now. Less than a week for our trip and I'm nervous, excited and more. I'm having trouble falling asleep (I never have problems with this). I lie awake thinking about a million things. People laugh at me because I tell them I'm going to the happiest place on earth. I can't help it.

There's a good reason the ads have people saying "I'm too excited to sleep".

Today marks a month until our trip! Woo! This time 30 days from now we'll be all checked in and, if my low-key, relaxed, plans work, we'll be relaxing at the pool, perhaps ordering lunch at WWS and enjoying an adult beverage (water for DS and DH but DH can have some sips of my drink). If I think about it too much, I will start to not sleep either!

I don't even have a trip planned yet and I'm obsessed with everything Disneyland and can barely stand the wait to go back. Hopefully I'll be able to swing a December trip to DLR... crosses fingers.

I'm the same way. There is no chance of my oversleeping the day we leave because there is zero chance I am getting a decent night's sleep the night before. lol I have to make myself go back to sleep several times that night. haha Trying to sleep that whole week before is just ridiculous.

I still have just under 6 months to go though so I'm o.k. for now. HAHAHA My brain is already way past that trip though into "if I buy AP's how much will a quick weekend cost?" lol

We are going for our first Christmas Trip and are so excited. DH even sprung for PPH. This is our 11th Anniversary and Christmas Present to each other all wrapped up in one. I'm too excited!

I actually take something to help me sleep the night before because I'm the same way. I get crabby if I don't get enough sleep. It's especially important if we're driving, there's a whole lotta nothing between Salt Lake City and California.

You what's weird as well?

You fall asleep late/barely get sleep, but you suddenly wake up about 2 hours early before it's time to open presents/go to disneyland/go to whatever you want to do.

I do that all the time when something special happens. <.<

We leave a month from tomorrow and I am so excited because not only do I get to go to Disney but it is Disney at Halloween which is my 2nd fav time to go plus I get to see all my Dis friends that I haven't seen in almost a year! I am SO excited!!!

I totally understand. We booked in February and it's been sooooo long. Now we leave in 21 sleeps and I can hardly contain my excitment. My DH has been whistling Disney songs for the last 2 weeks. I couldn't even imagine what it would be like if we were taking children.

We're leaving in 3 weeks. I can hardly wait and after reading this thread it's making me think about it even more. I can't wait to walk down Main Street and start my vacation. I promised this time I would take it easy on the family, my wife thinks I have us running back and forth across the park too much.

Ok now I am even MORE excited. I kept hearing everyone talking about what great deals they were getting on the DL hotels and we were booked at the DI so I called and was able to get an amazing rate with my AP at the DLH!! Now I REALLY can't wait. We NEVER stay on property cuz we are always trying to "save money" but we decided this time to go for it. Sure it is more than what we would have spent at DI but in reality it is about what we would have paid NORMALLY at DI or one of the Harbor hotels in high season so it all works out! I feel like a kid I am so excited!!
