Lately, mostly since the beginning of the year, I have not felt comfortable in many of my work clothes. I gained at least 5 lbs over the past year, a regular occurrence over the past 5+ years. I do not want to gorw in to another size. I need to lose at least 2 sizes, preferably 3. Today I felt huge, mostly because my clothes just do not fit the way they once did. I think I overate yesterday.
I started the Walk to Disney Challenge last week and have been walking most every day. Today I had planned to walk over lunch, but felt so bloated that I didn't. Then I thought I would walk the dog when I got home, didn't do that either. I still feel "full".
I should go for a physical and a full check-up, something I've been telling myself to do for years and I just don't. My 35th birthday is coming up and in the back of my mind I know it's important that I start seeing a doctor routinely - just hard to get back in the habit after so long.
Meanwhile, I'm hoping I feel better tomorrow and I expect to make up some of the two miles I didn't walk today.
