I feel bad for baby :(

Exactly. So there's really no reason to feel bad for him. Most everybody knows his name because of that hat. And until all the day one badge wearers leave the game (if that'll ever happen) and maybe not even then, people will remember that he was the first one to have that hat. So what if it isn't rare anymore? If he wanted to trade it, he would have done so a long time ago.

Sorry, I just realized that this post had sort of an angry tone. I'm not angry in the least. Just wanted to make a point.

Well, he had his fun with it... Now it's our turn. I don't think we need any more "sympathy" posts for Baby- he'll just have to put up with being a regular player now.

What if his hat is still able to be traded to the girls, if so he could always trade it for alot and buy one of the boys hats.

For what it's worth, Baby is a great person, both in game and out. He knew from the beginning his hat was one of a kind only because it was being tested and would eventually be released. I'm sure he felt some sense of loss, only because of the notoriety he received over that silly hat, but I bet he's glad he won't be bombarded with trade requests! LOL
So, don't feel bad for Baby. I'm sure his newfound sense of freedom is more than welcome.

I'm sure Baby is ok with it. When the Pirate hat without the bird first came out, i asked him if he was upset about it. He simply replied something to the effect of that he was glad that the rest of VMK could have the hat and not just him. I thought that was very nice of him to say that, cause i would have been ripped if it was me!

When the hat came out on Friday, Baby was the first person I sent a message to. Basically he is a great sport about it, and said it best in his response. "The ocean is big enough for more pirates!" (or something to that effect.) Either way being the first pirate is something that won't change for the guy, nor is his sense of humor about it all.
