So I really would like CRT on 12/13 for dinner (our first evening at WDW, we get in around 2-3 that afternoon). It's been booked and I've called daily - so it's time to look at different places...

And here's where you come in. We have the DxDP and can either do a signature restaurant (since we were planning on CRT) or a 1-TS meal. We can go to any park or any resort (though resorts are slightly more difficult).

We're already planning on:
Coral Reef
50s PT/Sci-Fi (ugh - but we'll be at MGM so we might as well)
Crystal Palace (breakfast)
Kona
Yak & Yeti
Cali Grill
Tony's Town Square
Whispering Canyon
Luau
Big River Grille

It'll be two folks in their mid-20s, boyfriend/girlfriend for 1.25 years, so romantic isn't a bad idea but also not necessary. Ok - tell me. I'll pick the one with the most votes/comments.popcorn::

Jiko at the AK, I know you said that resorts were a bit more difficult, but it is our very favorite restaurant at WDW and definitely worth the trouble to get there. It is a 2 TS Signature Restaurant and on the romantic side (it is Disney World after all:rotfl2: ). It is definitley a more adult atmosphere than most restaurants.
On the opposite end of the spectrum I would also suggest the Hoop Dee Doo Review at Fort Wilderness. It is a Westerned Themed Dance Hall dinner show. The food is good "Down Home" fried chicken, ribs, corn, beans and Strawberry Shortcake. It includes beer, wine and Sangria. The show is full of singing, dancing, corny jokes and lots of audience participation. It is quintensential Disney and great fun. It is also 2 TS credits.
Whatever you choose have a Great Trip

Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge would be a place to consider

Well since you asked for signature.. I always recommend Citrico's....by far the best kept secret on property.. There are many of us who prefer this one over the others... great service, awesome food and quiet ambiance make this one of the charming restaurants.....

Here is the menu: http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/diningdetail.cfm?Restaurant.ID=186

At least give it a thought when considering which restaurant you will add. I have eaten at all the restaurants you are planning on and this one far surpasses any of them for different reasons.. you want a signature restaurant, this is the one.

Good luck with your decision.

I don't see LeCellier on your list and I have heard wonderful things about Jiko at the Animal Kingdom and we have put that on our list for next September. Personally, we did not like WCC--none of the antics went on and thought the food was way overrated (DH actually got sick on the skillet).

I vote for Narcoossees...I've never been but as someone who is in my early twenties and going with Dbf who is in his mid-twenties..I know we will be trying it on our next trip when we do the DxDP. It gets wonderful reviews and they have lobster and surf and turf...yum!

It's a signature restaurant, so you'd use those 2 credits and if you schedule it right you have a view of the MK fireworks. They pipe the music into the restaurant. It would be a nice romantic meal.

If you can still get them our favorites are Liberty Tree Tavern in MK and Ohanas! :thumbsup2

I have been to Narcoossee's and you'll love it!! We did it for our wedding dinner in April and went back again just a month ago. It's romantic, has great food, and you can watch Wishes from there during or after dinner, depending on reservation time. It's also easy to get to - go to MK and hop on the monorail or the boat to the gf. Narcoossee's is right off the boat dock, so that'd be the way I'd go!

Do you plan to be at MK that night? Then, for sure, I would choose either Citricos or Narcoossees ... both are great.

My choice would be to go to DHS to see the Osborne lights, followed by dinner at Hollywood Brown Derby.

I say Citrico's. I didn't eat there this past May but I made ressies for my dad and stepmom and they LOVEDDDDD it! Said it was hands down the best place they ate all week.

I would pick either Narcoosees or Citricos at the GF, an easy monorail hop from MK.

For these two you can hop on the monorail to-For a signature, California Grill at the Contemporary is wonderful. Schedule around Wishes and you can view from the observation deck (ask to go to the back one-my quieter and more romantic). Or try Ohana's at the Polynesian. More of a fun atmosphere but I'm sure they could get you a quieter table in the corner.

Another vote for Jiko

I'd also recommend Le Cellier..and I haven't been there yet, but I really want to try Narcosee's.

There's a review of Narcoosies in World Bouncer's thread on page 1 of the Dining Review forum here. You have to see the lobster pictures! I'd go there and try to work out the timing to catch both the fireworks and Electric Light Pageant.

My other suggestion is Raglan Road. Not quite romantic because it's noisy, but it's a gorgeous place and the food is awesome. Plus the atmosphere and entertainment are fun and unique.

I recommend that you go to Citrico's if you are at MK. If not, Jiko's would be my next choice. Have eaten at and loved both. If you go to Citrico's, the crab appetizer is to die for. And we aren't big seafood eaters.

The count, so far, is:

*drum roll*

jiko 5
narcoose's 5
citrico 4
ohana 3
the wave 1
artist point 1
le cellier 1
LTT 1
brown derby 1

I'm giving it til Monday and then I'll call it. I've never been to any of these - and Jiko and Narcoose's sound amazing.
