Hi all -- Looking for some nice restaurant suggestions near SeaWorld (staying in condo near there). We'll be at WDW Thanksgiving week, and although I have my ADRs for Flying Fish, Portobello yacht and WCC, I'm thinking that it is too late now to call to try to get into anyplace else in the WORLD for that week, plus we want to be flexible as we will be staying at the parks later to see all the sights. Sooo, if anyone has any suggestions for "nice" restaurants along the south end of I-Drive, I would appreciate it. Does not have to be extremely kid-friendly, 11yo is good and loves any food.
Thanks for any and all advice . -- SJRogo

Leaving in 4 days !!!!! :Pinkbounc

Try Bahama Breeze, Ming Court for starters. Can't remember them all, there are quite a few in that area, you won't have any trouble finding something good to eat.

Black Angus steak house is out of this world but it's up the north end more as is the Texas De Brazil which is a little pricey but absolutely wonderful. We like the TGI Fridays on I Drive too, much better than our ones over here in the UK. PF Changs we absolutely loved (we don't have them over here) which is up in the Mall at the Millenia.

The Steak and Ale on I-drive and the Beachline is nice.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Does the area have a "Dining Guide" magazine like they do in many resort areas? Can I pick one up at a grocery store or something ? This is DH favorite reading material while on vacation !!!!!

2 more days

My family is also staying in a condo near seaworld (marriott cypress harbor). I would also appreciate some suggestions, and some that are not quite so fancy and expensive. This is our second week long trip this month and funds are tighter this time around....

OH YEAH! i totally second Charlies the steak there is amazing.

If you like Tex-Mex, Amigo's now has a location off I-Drive. It's definitely casual, not formal. Rangetsu (Japanese) is also supposed to be good and is a bit more upscale.

Hi just got back and we did visit a few of the restaurants. Steak and Ale and Bahama breeze were good, but the favorite off site was Kobe Japanese-- The steak was amazing and we had a very entertaining chef.

Wish we were still there...

I'll second the suggestion for Cafe Tu Tu Tango. We were there a few weeks ago and it is great fun. It's on I-Drive, not far from Sea World. The food was great. Everything comes in "appetizer size" and is shared, so you order lots of different things and all take a taste. Great selection of beers. It was fairly loud, if that doesn't bother you, but a fun party atmosphere.

We had a good meal at Houlihan's....i can't remember what everyone had around the table but I had a stuffed chicken breakfast that I enjoyed. I would describe it as an American bar & grill with an expansive menu.
