I don't want to hear one complaint ~ Trip Report We Are Back! update 7/9/09

So Day 3 was Blizzard beach and Epcot!

It was a super hot day! We got thier around 930-1000 we split up so I don't know what my sister and her family did that way but we head right to an area and found a nice area close to the lazy river and the wave pull. I am not in any way a water parks person. But Blizzard beach was nice. We left their around 230-300. We did the wave pool, the lazy river, and a few slides and of course we had to do the family ride. It did not rain at all but I do think It was the worst day of that whole week with the heat/weather wise. We did have breakfast at POFQ Sassagoula Float works and food factory.

Now on to Epcot I love Epcot!

That night we ate at Rose and crown: love this place. Before dinner we stopped at club cool however my dad was being my dad and said we need to get to dinner so i only got to try one soda. while we waited to be buzzed, we listen to so music from off kilter (spelling?) it was good music. We got buzzed really quickly. We where seated and the moment we sat down it rained like crazy. However we where covered so we where okay. MY sister and I shared the soup and we both got the fish and chips. For dessert I got the apple cobbler and my sister got the chocolate cake she loves chocolate. We have a few Irish/Endlish pubs near us and yet again hands down Rose and Crown is so much better!
My niece got the shepherds pie (spelling?) and ice cream
My sisters Fience got the lamb 2 ways. and the apple cobbler
My mom got steak and I don't know what she got for desset i for get.
My dad got the steak and apple cobbler,
I did try the welsh dragon it was so good.

Then we walked around a little bit. And I got my grey goose slushie okay i made everyone in my family who is over 21 try it!
Mom and I really liked it but we both said it would have been better if we just didn't have had a big meal and a few drinks at Rose and crown or we would have gotten another.
My sister took it from us so I guess that ment she liked it!
Dad had a French Beer and said it was better then his beer and needed another sip of my GG to wash his beer down
We sat down and listen to Hotel California tribute to the Eagles. sisters Fience had to go to germany so he could get a beer. We drink the same germany beer here at home so I don't see what was so great about that beer other then it came from a tap. It was good after that we went and watched our first time ever illuminations. I was the best! after that we needed to head to Norway and do malstrom. We only had a 5 min. wait.
Then we found School Bread! and a beer Carlsburg another beer we have at home but some how it was better in epcot. after that we left! and went back to POFQ!

We don't do much here! However, That day We went around a little after 9:00. My dad, Sister, Niece and Sister's fience went for Fastpass For Expedition Everest. Well my dad ran and got them, While the rest of us hit Kilimanjaro Safaris. We waited over 40 mins, The only time we really had to wait for a ride other then one other ride at epcot. Once we where done with Kilimanjaro Safaris, we went and got fast passes for Kali River Rapids. Mom and I waited for the rest of the crew to come off of EE. When they came back we got lunch Mom, dad and I had lunch at Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafes dad and I got the honey chicken dad and i both agree we liked the chicken but not the rice. Mom got the Mandarin Chicken Salad, She said it was very good. My sister and her family ate at Flame Tree Barbecue My sister had the Pork Sandwich it was okay she said, My sister's fience had The Ribs he said they where just ok. My niece had the childrens Chicken legs or so they looked like it maybe they where turkey legs but she ate them so I guess it was ok as well.

After Lunch we went to Finding Nemo That was such a cute show! Then it was time to do Kali River Rapids, we all said we where happy we got pastpasses because if we had waited in line for that ride we all would have been unhappy! It was just a really short ride. Then it was time to leave so walked out and I got another pin. Then we went back and took the niece to the pool and we didn't have much time until dinner, so we took a nap. My sister and her fience had dinner at the wave that night, they came to find us after dinner and said it was the best dinner, they both had Grilled Beef Tenderloin they siad it was sooooooooooo good, they wanted to go back. The rest of us had dinner at Chef Mickey's It was just okay no need to go back. Sorry Chef Mickey lovers.

However the characters her came and visited our table a fewtimes which was great better the Crystal palace. After Dinner we took the but from the Contemporary to Downtown Disney. Where my niece got to make her Mickey ears. She had fun. The we met up with my sister and her fience. Then went back to POFQ. For some sleep.

That morning mom and I had the DVC tour. Now this was the first time we had ever done the tour. Our DVC guide, was great he showed us all the new models. And showed us SSR rooms. We are now deciding between 2 DVC resorts. Bay Lake Towers (My choice) Animal Kingdom Villas (Mom's choice) We just liked them the best. SSR was fine and we would choose that if we need to stay their. Our tour was about 90mins maybe a little longer. Now we are just think what we want to do if we can do it. and so on. After the tour they dropped us of back a POFQ our driver on the was back was much better then the first one. After the tour he asked what we thought, and we liked it. We told him we could only come durning the summer but wanted to know another good time when it was good weather and not so many crowds he told us to come the first 2 weeks of november.

Then when we got back to the resort mom and I needed to get a few things and headed to the Bus stop. And a way we went to Epcot. It took forever. So it seemed. When we finally got to Epcot we where told to meet the group at TT. So we did, while waiting for them mom and I got a pizza and shared it. IT was also raining for a little moment.

After about 45 mins waiting for them. It was time to go to the World showcase. We got Kim impossible phones and was told to go to Norway. AH Sweet we love norway, we got a beer (Carlsburg) and it was time to split. So My sister, Niece and my sister's fience and I walked to Canada.

I had a Cup of Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup
a Moosehead Beer
The Le Cellier Mushroom Filet Mignon with the Cream Cheese Mashed Potatoes and the Chocolate Moose
My sister and her fience got the New York Strip Steak and they said it was great they both had the moosehead beer and my sister had the Chocolate moose and her fience had the chocolate cake
My niece had the childrens steak and ice cream and the cheddar cheese soup
and dad and mom went to Italy.
My dad had Lasagna al Forno I don't know what he had for dessert My mom had Penne Caprese and Mocha Tiramisu.
They Both give it 10 out of 5 Food and 4/5 Service. After dinner we met mom and dad in England and walk to Soarin. Mom, Dad and My sister waited for the other 2 to be done with Soarin. After that we went back to the resort to listen to some music. We had to pick up the items that we had sent back to the resort.
First of All this was the worst thing to do. Next time I will have it sent to the front of the park. My t-shirt I designed was the wrong size. The Towels my mom got where delivered to the wrong resort. After that we went to listen to music and had a few drinks then went to bed.

Day 6 and 7 tomorrow!

Day six start out as going to be a very sunny day! Then The storm came! Dad and I went to Downtown Disney because we need to get the shirt I made redone in the Correct Size! So we went in the store and they said sure no problem. Fixed it and it came out cute!
Then Dad and I hopped on the bus to go back to POFQ and It started to rain and rain and rain! So we met up with the family and when it stopped raining and storming, we check with front desk to see if the bus for TL and DTD where running, they said if you don't hear thunder thar means the parks would be open, so we waited a little and then walked to the bus stop we waited and waited every bus for Every park went by 2 or 3 of the same bus for the parks went by blizzard beach went by so 45 mins no bus we went back inside complained and then got a number to call. When a bus finally came. We went to TL for a few hours since our day was going to be short because we had dinner the night. at Beach club , When we got back from TL we called the number they gave us. A few hours later they called when we got back from dinner. We told them we where waiting and how no bus came for our TL/DTD. So The manager said, he was sorry and that the next morning we would have some fastpasses waiting for us at the counter. They didn't need to do that. At all but it was nice and we said thank you.

On to that evening. First of All We had to wait yet again for transportation, to get to epcot. Once a bus did come we had to also take a tour of POR which was fine but, we where already going to get thier late because of the bus. So we got to Epcot, Walked right to Uk and to the international Gateway. And again waited for a boat. And we sat on the boat and waited. When we finally got to Beach Club we checked in for Cape May Cafe Clambake. We went to the front desk to ask if their was another way we could go to epcot or Hollywood Studios the boat was the only way. Well maybe for Hollywoood Studios thats fine. We asked if we could walk to epcot and they said no their was no Way (YEAH right) At least our waitress new what she was talking about.

Dinner
The clambake had ribs, mussles, clams, Chicken, Salad bar, soups, and kids food. I ate the salad and 2 ribs. and I tried the chicken. You see everyone in my family loves clams and mussles exept for me. I can't stand them.
The Food was okay and no I don't need to go back. The Service was good.

After Dinner my dad, mom and I walked over to Epcot. We did a little shopping had to get stuff from france, and Japan. That was all the time we had. The park closed at 9 and we got out of dinner around 7:45.

My sister, her fience and my niece went to DHS. They had gotten fastpasses for the ride from someone who didn't want them. so they had fun!

In france I got a Paris Purse, and apostcard that said paris, Why its because my little female PWDis named Paris.
In Japan I got a pick a pearl.

The we had to go back to the resort to pack.
And then we went to sleep!

This was the last Day. We got our backs picked up at around 9:30 and they where taken to the bell service. We had to be back at the resort at 5:00 for our 5:40 ME pick up.

This was a sad day All day long until I went to sleep I kept telling my dad I didn't want to leave. HE said he understood.
This was the day we where going to have a small dismeet with Bouldertcr. Hi Boulder it was so much fun meeting her and her son.

So that morning we went to Magic Kingdom and the free fastpasses in hand. We went to Monsters inc. Peter pan flight, Thunder MT. Splash Mt. and I think that was it.

Then we went to meet up with Boulder at CRT. Right before we ate lunch.

So after lunch we walked around a little more I found some more lady and the tramp stuff and then we left! We got back at the POFQ had a snack went to ME went inside the airport had dinner and boarded the plane and we left came home around 11:30 pm - 12:00 am.

And that was my trip! Next Trip 2010 or 2011
I will keep you posted with information, If I left anything out!

I just feel terrible about the Characters missing your table at CP! How disappointing! Did you get fast passes after taking the DVC tour? You know we love our DVC! Did they also get you some fast passes to comp you for that looong bus wait?

No Fastpasses from DVC ust ice cream but we didn't take any!yes we did for the buses!

In 2010 We will have 2 PTR and 2 TR as of NOW!
Well I was very sad today, that I would not be able to get off for my birthday this year not even for a day! So my mom said I get to plan 2 trips for 2010
I kind of new that already. Since she was thinking about it on our june trip! I know I know thats a lot of planning to do. but I can't wait to start!
So this weekend I will be look very close to the resort board threads. We haven't decided if we where going to buy into DVC or not yet! And if we don't no big deal! I will still have 2 trips to plan!

We have decided that we will not be buying DVC this year which is okay! A lot of things happen is a short time! and I would rather same the money!
But we are still going next year! and We are planning at this time to stay AKL!

Oh the one thing that is seriously lacking at Disney resorts is the bus service. Every trip we have at least one or two 30+ minute waits. It sounds like you guys had a very full and fun trip, even with a few mishaps. Enjoy planning the 2 trips for next year.
