I don't wanna go in September!

I just found out the Happiest Celebration on Earth is scheduled to end September 30, 2006. I thought it was supposed to last 18 moths. :confused3

I really want to be there before it ends, but I don't want to go in September or any month other tan October or November. DH just asked why I don't want to go in September - crowds, heat, hurricanes and all that stuff.
They said 18mths so I believed them. WAAAAAH!

We love going in September. I will give you heat and you do have a chance of hurricanes but there are no crowds.

We were there the first two weeks of October and the crowds were quite heavy. Eight to 100 minutes wait times in some cases. I friend and his girlfriend were there in mid-September...the maximum wait time they had was 10 minutes for Soarin'.

Already planning our next trip, it will be in September.

Keep in mind, the food and wine festival now starts October 1st (it used to be later).

I agree with Leota...I hope that ugly mirror comes down soon.

It is 18 months. It started last May, and is scheduled to run through next September. But I agree with the other posters, it's not like they are going to remove the attractions that they have put in, are they? :confused3

But if the celebration started 5-5-05 then eighteen months would be November 5, 2006, which is why we planned to go October 2006.
The main thing I would like to see is the castle and I bet they will take that down straight away.

Sept was great for us!!

not much rain, hot but so what...low low crowds until Oct 3 IMO...value season RATES!!! MNSSHP and begining of FW festival end of Sept...

lots of reasons why Sept is good!!

Our last 2 visits have been sept and have booked for next sept never had any problems with crowds or weather. we managed to dodge two hurricaines last year!!!

We went in October in 2002. It was definitely more crowded in October 2002 than in September 2004 and 2005. I went mid Sept in 2004, and it was totally uncrowded. I found the last week of Sept 2005 into the first days of October to be much more crowded. We will definitely go again in Sept, but 2 weeks earlier. Go in September, and if you get a hurricane, don't worry about it. We were there last year for Hurricane Jeanne, and I would not hesitate to be at Disney for another one. Disney did everything in their power to make all their guests feel ssafe!
